Which side of the fence are you on with fart-gate? I have no issue with farting as long as I don't have to smell it, and it's not weaponized. I think the boys have been absolute feral dogs in a) the way they've carried on and b) the way they're victim-blaming Jane for being offended.

I hope they show what happened last night when they got into that argument because I want to see how crazy Colin went lol
....Unless they continue to make him look like a nice guy and cut another of his aggressive tantrums out of the daily show.

With all the accusations about Colin that you read online and also his behaviour in the house i am actually surprised that they haven't removed him, BBUK has removed quite a few people over the years for things people have said and done outside of the Big Brother house.

It would be too embarrassing for production to do so. Anything less than a turkey slap and they'll sit on their hands.

As time goes on and things get more difficult and stressful in the house he wont be able to deal with it and his poor behaviour and outbursts will become more frequent and create so many issues with others that it will become very difficult for them to edit around it and make him look good... hopefully 🤞

Andrew Tate being one of them.

One of the major differences though is that people in the UK brought receipts, e.g. old tweets... but that primarily cast a negative light on the British production. If somebody wrote an offensive tweet in the past and you don't want the show to be aligned with that, you should have scrolled through the profiles yourself and not cast these people in the first place. It's been especially embarrassing when they've cast Tila "I'm Jesus wife now and love Hitler" Tequila. Nobody had to dig up old tweets, she was known for being a complete nutcase and liability. It's been all over her Wiki page.

ITV supposedly has independent social media audits done on the HMs... I guess they either don't work, or they just shrug and cast problematic Housemates in every series anyway. 😅 But apparently they're a thing:
A spokesperson for the production company behind Big Brother, Initial TV, said: "This weekend we have been made aware of concerning historical tweets [by Trish, BB2023 Housemate]. We are currently looking into why they were not identified by the independent supplier we engage to review the digital footprint of potential housemates as part of our pre-checks."

So you'd think the BBAU producers would've at least done some googling.

As suspected, Colin's reactions were left on the cutting room floor. Thankfully some of it was clipped.

Funny how it continues on into the kitchen, god knows how long it went on for.
I wish someone clipped the part that alarmed me the most. He stormed off in the direction of the diary room looking really fired up and in on the way looked towards Jane in the kitchen with to me what was a pretty scary look on his face. Then he didn’t emerge again for a while. I think it was between these 2 clips.

Does anyone know if there's a clip of his family dinner blow-up, anywhere? Kinda seems like more of that one was shown (albeit mostly without audio?), but I missed it.

There was a time in Australia when Political candidates in the 2019 election leadup were being "dropped like flies" by their parties leaders because old tweets of them saying offensive shit resurfaced, and activists were disrupting/boycotting gaming conventions in an attempt to de platform guest speakers who had posted something offensive on social media years beforehand. I guess the world and BB producers have moved on from cancellation culture.

I’m not normally one to comment much on the producer edits of the show. At the end of the day we are watching reality television and not simply reality. Therefore I accept that some things are going to be edited for the daily shows.

However last night I caught up on the previous episode (as I had been out seeing Wicked on Wednesday night) and in the scene with Bruce and Jane in the BB eats room, there is a word from Jane that is very obviously sliced into the conversation to replace another word. (This may have already been discussed elsewhere, apologies if I’ve missed it)

At the 14:40 mark of episode 10 on the 10app Jane says “The way .. you … was yelling at me

You can tell from the tone that the word you was sliced into the line. The fact that the next word is “was” and not “were” leads me to believe she was actually naming someone. I don’t get much time to watch the livestream these days, however if what I’ve read on here is to be believed then Colin got pretty heated in the conversation with Jane that Bruce and her were referring to.

This comes back to the producer edits I started with. Initially I liked Colin, found him to be a bit of fun however I’m slowly losing the enjoyment in watching him. I know many on this forum believe he is the producers favourite and they are editing him in a positive light. For some reason they’re protecting him from showing his more aggressive traits on the daily show. Could this be one of those instances? Just found it interesting.

That's interesting. I remember at the time of watching thinking, but Bruce wasn't yelling at you (then), Colin was yelling at you.

They've chopped all the scenes that would show how aggro Colin gets, especially after a couple of beers. I don't think there is any doubt that he is the producer's favourite. First housemate in, featured heavily in every ep, and extensive scenes calling BB bro, brev, etc - he is being painted as a lovable larrikin figure, quirky, but also somehow delicate and in need of cosseting.

The fact he and Holly have provided the storyline for the show so far with their 'romance' is another reason to protect what they are selling.

Great pick up and one that few will notice, and as a consequence points to favouritism from the producers, or is that director? Still favouritism.
