BB 2025 season ratings thread

Wow that 975,000 for the second episode is very good, I haven't seen ep2 numbers like that for any of ten's reality in a very long time.

Thinking this follow week should show if BB has can hold those number
Many would have come back to BB to check on the promise it will be like the original BB and maybe give it a week

What do the "consolidated" ratings released one week after the broadcast mean/represent?
Consolidated ratings represent the people who watched the show on PVR up to one week after broadcast. I think they can also be properly time-adjusted for the start and end of each program, as the program logs are generally available.

Do they also include the people who watched the show on repeats that Ten aired during the day later in that week?

10 are not airing any BB repeats as the show is rated M and can't be shown in repeat form before 3 pm.
Even if they were airing repeats, they usually show up in the ratings with the identifier "RPT", and often don't register enough viewers to appear within the publishable Top 20 programs.

Unfortunately. They're making the shows for the Colins idiots of Australia (rather than the hardcore fans), and for some reason they're just eating this shit up. :(

😂
I think the big casual audience for Big Brother has always been...not especially smart. The 'left wing forums' people as Michael would label us are kind of the exception.

I'd like to think that maybe they might actually start showing us more of Colin's true personality if he keeps having blow ups but do I think we are gonna see anything different narrative wise this season? Not really sadly.

Even if the numbers don't sustain over the coming weeks, it held well in the demos against heavy competition and will sustain now that the runway is clear. There's clearly an appetite for the show.

There's no reason Ten won't go all in for next year. I wonder how/where they'll schedule it in. After Masterchef/before Survivor?

Those numbers are holding well for week 2, those consolidated numbers are way better than expected as well. It's officially ten's only stripped reality program this year to have three episodes above 900,000 which is pretty telling of the demand for the show.

Safe to bet we're getting a longer run next year if it keeps those BVOD numbers at the current pace.

10 had the second, shorter Survivor season recently which they won't have on their schedule next year. I can see them extending BB to fill that gap. Also, for all the complaints we've had about runtimes of the live shows, I could see them splitting off the daily shows like they used to be so that BB airs for longer on eviction/nomination nights.

I wondered if the traitors is there instead to fill that gap. Obviously we won't be getting a 4 month season of Masterchef again (I hope), so I expect there to be an extra month to add to BB. Honestly Anything above 8/9 weeks and I'm good.

I suspect we'll get Traitors before Masterchef/after I'm A Celeb.
