Yeah, no voting graph and no highlights reel (even just one) is a HUGE misstep.

The live shows this year are abysmal in every way.

Very quick and abrupt end to the show, really wanted to see a voting graph and for Michael to see who nominated him. Guess they have tomorrow night to fill in what they missed tonight.

I know everyone wants to see a graph but honestly I just don’t think with the viewing audience that Michael would’ve garnered enough votes to beat Holly. As annoying as it is this feels correct. If it was vote to evict, the story would be very different.

It's not the point.

It also adds to the theory that these evictions are predetermined. Seven didn't show the graph for free votes either.

Michael basically let slip housemates are stealth discussing nominations during a love interview. I doubt he'll be invited to interview live again, he's a loose cannon.

But sometimes that exactly is why someone like Holly should go when she's sucking up all the airtime (for storylines that aren't that interesting). Forcing producers to focus on others isn't a bad thing.

Holly being evicted isn't going to automatically make the other housemates more interesting though. It would definitely ease some of the tension but that doesn't necessarily make for good TV.

She likely makes the edit so regularly due to limited competition in what footage producers think makes interesting TV. If there was legitimately more interesting things going on elsewhere, producers would probably already be using more if it.

I agree with your general comment. However, Mel got a fair bit of goss out of Michael in the limited time allowed for his interview.
