The Cheap Seats ends for the year next week and Sam Pang Tonight is a bit too Late Show-ey, which usually hosts only a couple bigger name guests each ep.

I can't see the evictee being interviewed anywhere other than radio.
Oh wow. Did not realise cheap seats is pretty much over.

Sad that channel 10 doesn't have many outlets these days. GMA/Rove/The Panel you are missed.
10 News+... it's not like this show has an audience that would care about the show suddenly doing something entirely different.
Oh I completely forgot about that! Yeah it could have something there I guess.

I have seen Angela Bishop do celebrity interviews on there occasionally what's the harm in having a little bb moment as well.

Jane will be saved as she only just got there... providing she can keep her mouth shut better than she did in tonight's episode. Playing under the radar did not start well.

I actually don't mind that. It means people have to think carefully about how they cast their vote knowing that they only get one chance to influence the outcome of an eviction.
Yes. Though my thought is, what usually makes a Vote To Save work is the ability to vote for everyone except the person you want evicted. So theoretically, if you want Holly to go then you’d be sending votes towards both Michael and Jane in order to ensure you can contribute to that outcome effectively. This especially becomes more important when/if you have more than 3 people nominated.

Whereas, based on your statement, I feel as though one single carefully considered vote in a Vote To Evict circumstance would be reasonable and make more sense. I dunno. Our free votes probably aren’t really counting anyway, and likely just give the producers a gage on who’s popular or not to contrive the show how they see fit.

According to the show, we - the audience - are supposed to have “more control than ever before”. But in regards to voting for evictions, we actually now have far less (obviously sans Seven era).

I feel like Michael is most likely to be evicted here as he would get the least save votes. If it were vote to evict I think Holly would be guaranteed to go. If it's not Michael it might end up being Jane by default.

to see Holly go, for the drama.
Agreed. But it will be Michael, he's rather boring and the bit of screentime he got on the stream last night reading from the Fan Diary, he literally told everyone he'd fuck the shit out of Vinnie. Although I'd like to watch that happen, it's not happening on Big Brother.

He may be boring but Holly needs to go in order to weaken Colin.

A double eviction is just what the show needs to keep the housemates on their feet and show that Big Brother isn't fooling around. With the shorter season, a few of them here and there seems inevitable. I think Holly has time to grow from perspective and change her attitudes and behaviours, but Michael seems really toxic and could create a few wounds amongst the housemates that I don't think will be fun to watch. There's enough of his bullshit out there in the world already.

I was expecting there will be a evicted appearance on the Cheap Seats but it's coming to a end for the year ?
If BB is rating well they may slot in something in that slot

I'm hoping it Holly this week

Holly to be evicted - if she doesn't leave sooner
I think Holly saying she thinking of leaving may turn viewer off

I rather think BB will pull out all stops to convince her to stay at least till Sunday
even if she doesn't leave early I think they''l keep that a secret

My prediction is Michael because in the case of some, they will make the mistake of choosing Holly and then realise "Oh wait, it's vote to save" after it's too late. Another reason being that Michael hasn't had much TV time and in that time, very little of it has shown him in a positive light.

As someone else commented, there is a chance Holly will be saved because of her looks, much like Tahan did in 2013.

One of my gripes about this season is they didn't bring back Vote to Evict from the original seasons. Not sure why they stuck to Vote to Save.

I prefer Vote-to-evict as well, but we're in the minority here. People usually love vote-to-save and producers love it, too. Makes it less likely that big characters leave, which for some reason some people think is a bad thing, when it is only a bad thing if you have done a terrible job with casting people in the first place. If you cast well, the show can benefit from losing a bigger character.

Not that it's relevant for the current iteration of BBAU, but I read comments in the past that vote-to-save generates more votes, which means more revenue for anyone that charges for voting. And while no producer will ever admit it, but I guess vote-to-save also makes it potentially easier for them to skew votes in their favor. The less you show a housemate, the less likely it will be for viewers to vote for them.

You could avoid showing people when you do vote-to-evict, but that's counterproductive when you want to keep them in the house.

I think Michael is gone. He's either mostly just listening to people or he's saying offensive shit TBH. Not a great loss to the house. Holly will provide more drama if she's still here.

Tahan was not saved at all because she was good looking. That's never been much of an advantage for women on this show because of the demographics of the audience. She was very entertaining and brought the drama, that's why she nearly won.
