Do we actually know it’s Pete? To me the voice doesn’t match but I’m happy to remain optimistic.

Also what is with everything being about “budget constraints” I call bullshit on that. You’re either a producer or not

I’ll be honest I thought Leon was a decent nod to what once was for the reboot. That being said, on a few occasions now I’ve struggled to differentiate Leon from Pete. I can see why 9 paired them together.

I am curious if we’ll have deputies this year or if 10 will take another page from ITVs sopping wet book and have Pete dub everything. Ngl I wouldn’t hate hearing Nick’s or Ricki’s voice again (likely an unpopular opinion) but I’d assume they’ve long since said goodbye to the show. Regardless, a variety of voices will be welcome in my eyes.

The voices aren’t always producers. I think in the case of Ricki, Aaron and Nick from the mid noughties they rotated their producer responsibilities.

I assume they're being very conservative of their spending for this first season, since 7BBAU tanked so, so hard (one episode in 2023 had overnight ratings of 91,000) that they want to try keep things as cheap as possible since they don't know how well this is going to do.

If its a runaway success, then next year's budget will definitely balloon.

I personally think so. Production would be all over this page. They are of course gonna check it and get the pure fans thoughts and reactions. A great decision from them

Regardless, it's about time he was given a chance to step up. Someone fresh for the revival. He is the best of both worlds, imo - a mix of Nick and Leon in the best way.

Agreed!. His a closer mix of Nick and i think deserves a chance for this series. Leon has had more then enough goes
