Episode Day 0: 2025 launch day taping spoilers and speculation

At long last, Big Brother 2025 is here! Tonight the launch episode will be filmed in front of a live audience at Dreamworld, to be aired tomorrow on Channel 10 from 7 pm.

Please direct all discussion about the taping here. If you see something interesting on social media about the launch, please share it below.

A brief recap if you haven't been keeping up with news:
  • This year the Big Brother house is constructed inside the Dreamworld Exhibition Centre.
  • A small (by OG BB standards) outdoor stage is located nearby (although the jury is out for whether any additional larger live show set exists elsewhere or indoors in case of wet weather).
  • Promos state that 12 housemates will enter, although a voting system leak suggests that one (or more) additional housemates could be selected by Australia to enter the house with the result determined possibly during Day 2's live special show (on Monday).
  • The iconic Big Brother theme tune is back after being AWOL during the previous Channel 7 era.
  • Live streaming returns and is promised to be 24/7, available via 10.com.au

And it’s back on Channel 10 again! It almost feels scandalous knowing a new season is starting and I can’t talk to Nan about it anymore.

But I know I have a lot of people on here to talk about it now so that’s kinda makes up for it. ☺️

The way I look at it is that Seven set a very low bar, and I'm sure 10's casting will be better than Nine's. Plus we'll have a live feed, which neither network provided. So it can only be better than the last two iterations, right?

This is true. I don’t particularly recall seeing the ceiling in past seasons, so although I know the houses for watchable seasons had one, they may as well have not. Hopefully it’s never mentioned or shown or referenced in any capacity and I don’t need to think about! This season will be great 🤪
