Oh yeah, the colours were all messed up in photoshop because of my HDR monitor and I was too lazy to adjust. So didn't notice. Fixed it for you.
The most shocking part about this is that if I’m not mistaken those are HMs from Seven, right?

Finally read your article… The best liminal space I can compare this house to is Disney’s abandoned Wonders of Life pavilion at Epcot.I'm guessing this is quite a big website, to have interviewed Mel and the new EP. How have they managed to take such ugly photos AND compress them to fuck?The ones I upscaled from the Instagram videos look shit, but somehow not this shit.
That feels shot in a way to disguise how small and overlooked the garden is. Forget the living room, the garden needs a ceiling more!
The design here makes Nine's flamingo house look tasteful.
Ok so I don’t mind the house, but it looks VERY quickly put together. Also reminds me of the sets in ikea like the room sets, just all smooshed together in a house.
Aside from that, I don’t HATE the house. Don’t love it but I’m sure it’ll grow on me.
Like the theorist said (I forgot to quote!) if the sets are usually like this then I’m not upset, just camera quality I guess picks it up a lot more nowadays.

Oh wow it does look really cool! I’m so excited to see Mel on there. If the space had some more humans there it would look pretty epic.
Surely they could at least have covered the stage even if not the audience.
Obviously inspired by the BBUK set up but we've always had a studio alongside the outside stage too for the interviews and for when using the outside set is not necessary. They might get away with evictions but live nominations from here would be odd. Would be better with them setting an area up in the control room for Mel and a couple of guests.

This definitely will not be how it happens but I see this stage setup lending itself alright with an “I’m coming to get you” moment. Mel announces the evictee from the stage then goes to meet them at the house exit and walks them through the fan zone and back out onto the stage
The theory still holds up imo: Dreamworld guests may still get to look inside the house during filming. Unless a cameraman will be set up there intermittently with a portable camera run during the season, this window looks pretty clear that it’s made for someone to look through.
