While I'm thrilled with excitement BB is back I'm abit disappointed with a few things;
- Leon murray returning as the voice
- the live show area (can't really call it much of a stage)
- the house design, while it's exactly what I expected simply because this is what BBuk have done and we seem to copy mostly what they do. Its also the same production company that produced the I'll fated 7 version so they weren't going to change to much in the way of house design especially in the small area they where given, its basically a step up from the 7 era houses and abit nicer and more polished.

I just hope that they have picked a good group of housemates, it's abit concerning with so many infulancers coming foward saying they where approached by producers to be on the show. I also don't really want to go down this silly head of house or super power twists they have done previously. Just put the people into the house and watch them. That's what the show is about and that's what made it great, seeing how they act.
Let's just pray bb works and gets the views because if it doesn't then this will be the end of big brother in Australia.

to wrap things up, if i was the boss of the show 😂 I would of done things differently but I see enough potential here for it to work.
Come on BB and the production team! U have so many people wanting it to be a success

Agreed. Tho I would’ve thought some massive changes would’ve need to have been made for 10 to even consider hiring the same people. Could this be a false promise of return to basics? Let’s not put that out there.

Confirmation of what we already knew:
  • “small eviction arena and outdoor standing-room area”
  • absolutely no “traditional camera runs where camera operators once worked under black sheets behind two way mirrors to capture footage, instead it is all remote rigged cameras mounted around the house”
  • Gretel Killeen got the biggest applause at Upfronts 👏

I feel we've waited so long for any network to come forward and say those magic words "back to basics" and I truly thought based on the promo we got a year or so ago with the BBAU reminiscent eye, they were on the right track.

Then to completely do a 180° a few weeks out and change the logo, was when my disappointment started to trickle in (hence why I feel some of the crew from the 7 era hijacked the planning of the show 😅).

Then the house looking like The Wiggles home, like I get colour is a thing, but it looks almost comical. The stage looked a little better from that new angle we saw, but based on the drone footage, it looks to me if a storm came through, it'll be blown away.

As for housemates, if what was said earlier, about influencers being approached by producers is true, that will be another slap in the face. Especially if talent agencies have also been utilised (even for a few housemates)

I'm trying to remain hopeful, I understand they want to capture the essence of the OG seasons, but I also suspect a lot of Aussie die-hard fans may get a shock after Sunday, and not in a good way 😂

Well said. Echoing the sentiment I believe a number of us have. It feels like a whole different beast now from what it was during the initial build up.

Another article. Nothing new here. Thought I’d share.

How long will the season run?

Channel 10 has yet to confirm how long the series will run, although it’s expected to conclude in late December.

...maybe it could run until the 22nd December???

Everything else about this is copied inspired by ITV’s 2023 return season of BBUK, so yes it seems inevitable it’ll be a 6-week series too.

Don’t know if this has already been shared but in David’s article you can see the first proper glimpse of the stage, plus he says “first housemates move in Sunday”, implying more move in after.

Don’t mind the stage, sides just look abit bare, even some LED lights would’ve been nice.
It has. Along with at least one other pic. It looks better than it did in the drone footage.
