BBAU 2025 house in Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

IMG_6955.jpeg

This looks like some natural daylight coming from an opening in the Centre, so quite possibly pre-recorded.

So far the colour scheme doesn't look like a Disney character got drunk and threw up everywhere, which is good.

Briefly thought that nook in the kitchen was a mirror but now I see shelves. It's interesting "modern" BB houses all seem to have a similar look and feel.

No indication of camera runs or ceilings yet. I suppose we'll have a house with Panasonic PTZ cameras in every corner and shot, which is fine, but it starts to look clunky. There also doesn't appear to be appropriate studio lighting installed, but I guess that will happen once the house build is finishing up. The ceiling thing is interesting though - it must be much more difficult to install ceilings when everything else is up already - and I also don't see any support beams to hold them up.

There’s definitely no lighting or cameras installed yet so that’s likely a reason we don’t yet have a ceiling. Going back to my BBCAN posts it seems likely those are the last to be addressed in the build. IMO they appear the two appear to be following a very similar type of construction.

Does anyone else find it a little crazy that they’re about 3 weeks away from launching the house at Ten’s Upfronts and the house still looks like that…

Also, a clean screenshot:

Whilst I think others are probably right this is older footage they are still a month out. These are sets, not houses, and ultimately can go up very quickly. Cameras etc need installing but suspect nowadays most the testing can be done in modelling.

If they could build the BB1 house from the ground up in seven weeks, I am sure they can finish this set in time for 8 November.

That new compound at the time would’ve been a lot more work than fitting out a warehouse-style building too. They’ll still be working on it the morning of the launch.

I just hope there is a ceiling. If they don’t it’s going to be a very shit setup.
Seems some colour wall squares in the bathroom but yes, quite muted so far which is good. They were installing vinyl floor board tiles last night on the stream which were natural colours so I imagine it to be less colour vomit.

WTF? The big space on the right has no doors. Weird q shaped room off that dead space that doesn't look like it's part of the house. Toilets at bottom right? Top left looks like main living room with big screen on a raised area. But I can't make any sense of most of it.

Haven’t a clue what I’m looking at. I see the equivalent of a camera run between the void outdoor space and what i assume to be the living area that leads outside.

The small boxed room adjacent to the “3” could be the diary room?

This is also an existing space so any facilities (toilets, stage) are probably noted simply because they’re a part of the building.

With just that little bit, it seems like a very odd layout, I can't make sense of it. need to see 2 to make sense of the interior.

I've been trying match the pictures we've seen so far up with that plan, I can only work out the entryway and kitchen.

I wonder if that odd shaped outside area under the canopy is some sort of entrance vestibule, assuming the smaller amphitheatre is the live set. It’s odd there’s no door indications and the yard isn’t connected and doesn’t seem to have any sort of visible boundary.
