He said he was ready to leave the next day. But even so he should have waited for a better offer, unless he thought one of the others would grab it. I'd think it would have easily been $5000 and maybe more. At least he got a NZ ski trip as well.

Yep. It was very pathetic high school mentality. It would have been hell for me living in that house. I feel for Kate having to put up with that.
 
On FNL, was there ever a reason why they always let the second team watch the first team play a game - giving them an extremely unfair advantage? Especially given the prize of the nominations power. Surely they shouldn't have been doing it.

The part I dropped in at last night Hayley asked Billy in the showers about him not 'doing the nudie showers thing?' and he went nah for family reasons his nan might be watching or something so maybe they didn't.

At this point though Uncut/AO had already ceased before the Turkey slap even happened, but they might have still anticipated any live stream/premium website stuff still potentially taking place even after that whole thing so hmm.

Someone that calls themselves “info man” feels no shame when they’re called out on their BS…. It just feeds their delusions even more and they can always claim later on they were “just reporting what they’d heard” and “they must have changed their minds”. Even when they’re being rebuked by someone in an official capacity the mental gymnastics can’t be stopped because “of course BB would say that” like it’s some grand conspiracy to throw them off 🙄.
 
But are they Streisand-effecting it a bit at the same time or taking the piss, could be completely off, but by giving them attention could be theres at least a sliver of truth somewhere in what they're 'leaking'? lol

Just remembered I have the full unedited live stream cap of the BIG blow-up that happens between Bodie and Hayley/Andrew on Day 12 somewhere.

I don’t think the Daily Show did it justice with just how huge of an argument it was. In fact, if you watch carefully, there are some very questionable cuts and inconsistent continuity edits during the Daily Show version. It was (badly) pieced together for primetime.

Correction - it’s the big screaming match that’s currently streaming right now, from Day 20, that I was thinking of.

The rest of what I said is still relevant. Re: the editing continuities, you can see some HMs like TJ and Zoran suddenly switch back forth from being in the bathroom to being in the bedroom (watch for reflections in mirrors) dependant on camera angles, even though the narrative has placed them in the bathroom.

Gretel would have a field day with this accusation!

Doubt it but that’s definitely what he wants you to think. That said the only thing he said that was really ‘groundbreaking’ was the twist involving the UK house and I think given there’s only about a 5ish day overlap where said twist could potentially take place I think it’s unlikely.

Surely BBUK would be too busy at that stage backdoor evicting half the housemates in the final week in preparation for the finale to be able to dedicate time to a twist with BBAU.

orrr The Winner/one of the finalists via vote comes over to compete Ultimate BB style in BBAU for what the remaining 2.5ish weeks of the show here, gives them a 9 or so week stint across both houses.

Actually... Lightbulb moment Even something as simple as the Phone call between houses that will come up later in BB07 stream, That occurred during the last week of BB07 with the BBUK8 house when we were down to our Final 4 and BBUK were up to week 7 or 8 with 10+ housemates still left. Someone will have to keep an eye on chat when that part comes up to see if theres any hints something like that could be on the cards haha.

It wouldn’t be Big Brother without some rando claiming to work on the show themselves or knowing somebody who works on the show.

They pick up known facts and make educated guesses. Some of them hit and people start to believe all of them.

It happened with the current BBUK reboot as well. There was one guy who claimed to be a senior producer and made wrong claims but then the UK reboot had echoes in the diary room and that guy said that they are working on it. When it was indeed fixed, I think a lot of people were sold on him.

But then he got more stuff wrong, people called him out and he turned completely crazy (first having "his wife" post that he quit his job because he was in deep depression from people being mean to him, then sending people fake cease & desist letters).


When the German civilian reboot was announced, they wouldn’t confirm the channel at first. So people speculated that it might air on a different channel than the celebrity version. Some rando then claimed to be involved with the show and said it would move back to its original channel (hence why they wouldn’t reveal the channel yet). Some people took him seriously because the original channel cancelled one of their soap operas and they took it as making room for Big Brother. Of course it turned out to be fake.

Not Big Brother but "Uncle Cameraman" used to be a bit of a meme in the Survivor community.

There have been some proper leaks over the years and I think the vegas girl from BBUS was the most prominent one that worked on the show as a story producer and would leak stuff during the season (but also post a lot of bs).

But at this stage of BBAU, I would assume that only senior production crew would have an idea on what they want to do during the season. And it’s very unlikely that they would leak major twists.

BBUK doesn’t even really acknowledge their own previous seasons since they switched networks. You think they’d acknowledge another version of the show half way around the world?

It’s a solid theory but I’m not entirely sure.

Sorry, I like your creativity but no Ultimate BB. Please. They need to work on getting back to their origins and having a promising reboot without anything like this happening.
