Rewatch Big Brother 2007 YouTube stream (10-12 Oct & 17-19 Oct)

I know there was no Uncut aired this season but I’m having vague memories about having to pay money to watch it online. Or was that just live streaming in general?
 
The first few evictees this season were a big loss for the house, imo.

Kate was such great value - and hilarious. TJ was a riot to watch (although would be terrifying to live with). And Bodie brought fun and pranks, but got totally screwed over by getting involved with TJ. Even Demet met an unfortunately early demise just for being real.

Unused Uncut/Adults Only content went online in 2006 after it ended after the turkey slap, according to Wikipedia. So maybe.

It’s so weird and hard to explain how different this season feels right off the bat. Maybe it’s the warmer colours. Probably the HM selection. I dunno, it’s just so tonally different to almost any season prior - certainly the last three - and I love it.

I think part of it was intentional to kinda give a "definitely no turkey slap" vibe this year. I couldn't find the video but I remember that there was a clip form 10 News about the launch and how it was rumoured that this year's housemates won't be as attractive (kinda ironic based on the thirsting here) and it then had a statement from Kris Noble (I think in the auditorium that got prepared) saything that "I think that beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

I love seeing so much positivity for 2007. The 04-06 cast were too bogan and had too many boys boys that just followed each other around. The 07 group are one my favourites along with 01.
 
Yeah 2007 I think has to be my second fave series. Probably cause Aleisha won and just the whole general vibe of the season. I actually quite liked the house and I feel like it films better than 2006. This is also the year the show went fully digital upgrade from control room to editing.

I agree on Kate. I actually loved her in the house and wish she had stayed longer.

Also if anyone has that Bodie content…. Thomas was always on the wish list though. 🥹
 
I’m so pleased, they really did try to fix things after the shitshow of 05 and the chaos of 06. Makes me wonder how they got it so wrong in 08.
