Even though the FNG episodes have aged badly (not to mention how longgggg they are) I think it’s a very clever move to be actively promoting it.

We all know the general public won’t shut up about that show, so I think it’s another smart way to drive viewers to the streams.
 
Is 2005 the year they upgraded all the house cameras to HD? I'm rewatching the 04 stream, and when they do the housemates on the couch shot, it's so fuzzy.

Also watching the first Nominations show and good lord what was that Nominations tally board 😭

They’re SIM cards 😉

2005 is my least favourite season. It was quite smutty and just all about sex and “hotness” even though half the cast weren’t ha
 
Whenever I’ve done binge rewatches of these years in the past, I used to play the FNL episodes at more than x2 speed. 🤣

Week 3 (First week without specials) is 5.6 hours in total, multiply by 14 weeks (98 days) is 78 hours plus specials, double evictions, we are looking at close to 100 hours of Big Brother over 2 weekends, which should be about 9, 12 hour parts.
 
been watching 2005 thru the google drive posted on here atm, enjoying it a lot haha. Just watched an ep of fnl and jeez it didnt age.

Week 1: 296 Minutes = 4.9 hours (Lunch + specials + extra-long daily's)
Week 2: 345 Minutes = 5.75 Hours (1 special + 1 extra-long daily)
Week 3: 339 Minutes = 5.65 Hours
Week 4: 410 Minutes = 6.8 Hours (1 special + 1 extra-long daily)
Week 5: 333 Minutes = 5.55 Hours
Week 6: 327 Minutes = 5.45 Hours
Week 7: 336 Minutes = 5.6 Hours
Week 8: 392 Minutes = 6.5 Hours (1 special + 1 extra-long daily)
Week 9: 355 Minutes = 5.91 Hours (1 special)
Week 10: 352 Minutes = 5.86 Hours
Week 11: 409 Minutes = 6.81 Hours (1 Special)
Week 12: 370 Minutes = 6.16 Hours
Week 13: 391 Minutes = 6.51 hours (extra-long FNL)
Week 14: 363 Minutes = 6.05 Hours (extra-long FNL)
Last 2 days: 195 Minutes = 3.25 Hours.

Going by TVDB not including uncut episodes
 
So essentially, just streaming from 7pm Friday through 7pm-ish Sunday, twice? That's better than I was expecting.
 
Already cringing at flashbacks of the homophobic, sexist and racist commentary from Mike and Fitzy, especially in 2006 and 2007.

It’s absolutely a product of its time. I don’t insinuate that the hosts, or the production, hold those views today. But, just like a lot of the language used during the 2001-2004 seasons (and in many other shows of that era, the 90s and prior), it’s still very difficult to watch back in today’s world.
