I didn't realise before this week that Damian is Lizzy Hoo's brother (she is a comedian that often appears on Have You Been Paying Attention).

I remember the Finale coincided right about the same time as the 2002 FIFA World Cup Final (30th June/1st July)

All I remember of the 2002 finale is that the broadcast feed on Ten in Melbourne disconnected right around the time the winner was announced. It was a black screen for what felt like a minute, and I recall my 10-year-old self carrying on a lot about it. Always the drama queen. lol

I saw a comment by BB on Facebook that they plan to leave the stream up on YouTube for a day or two longer than what they did with 2001.

Weren't they already uploading the uncut episodes of series 1 until it was thought the quality was bad and so they took all episodes down again?

They did indeed but the nudity was blurred.

Last week was a novelty but this week shows airing an entire series back to back in one go doesn't really work. A week per night would probably be best.

you know what really confuses me, how both Ben and Peter narrowly survive the final 3 eviction with the second most votes to evict whilst both Blair and Marty scored the fewest votes. And yet the final result flips both times.

I'm reminded how likeable Gretel was in these early seasons too. She was funny, flirty, laughed a lot and clearly had fun with it.

When watching you can see how her enjoyment started decreasing from the 3rd season onwards.

Last weekend was really amazing, this was pretty underwhelming. 03 is such a great season but I do wonder how the marathon will go next weekend, will the novelty have worn off?

It was a funny series, I remember 'Bob Downe' was some part of the promos or intro or something. It was also the house I visited (well basically it was the BB02 House as well) on our way back from Holidays on Stradbroke Island in October 2002. Couple photos:
