Agree. It’s likely to hover at that 800,000-900,000 mark, a way better lead in than amazing race which definitely will not do the same as an all stars (legends I should say) survivor season

I don’t disagree.. but keyword Gretel Killeen. And having survivor before Big Brother might put people off of the show (ch7 survivor in a house)

If people are tuning into Amazing Race for Gretel Killeen they'd likely be tuning in to Big Brother anyway. She's only a footnote in the history of the show now (and that seems to be the way she likes it) so her presence in one show won't encourage people to watch it - but it's just a nice nod from Ten which gives it a gentle mention.

Survivor viewers know the difference between BB and Survivor - they wouldn't be put off with thoughts of the Seven version. Indeed there is no logic to the comment at all.
