Says who?Or Queensland, which is said to be the location.
Why would a financially struggling broadcaster who has already cut almost all Queensland operations then spend money re-expanding into Queensland for a production that is running for 3 months.. when they already have the resources available in Sydney and Melbourne to execute 3 months of 24-hour turnaround content..Or Queensland, which is said to be the location.
You’ve VILLAGE ROADSHOW STUDIOS & PINNACLE STUDIOS. Both studios have the ideal space, but unsure about a big backyard…
You also have SCREEN QUEENSLAND STUDIOS in Brisbane, which are quite large.

The only way I see them returning to Queensland is if there's some sort of incentive, whether that be a cost sharing agreement and/or a massive tax credit. Why would a financially struggling broadcaster who has already cut almost all Queensland operations then spend money re-expanding into Queensland for a production that is running for 3 months.. when they already have the resources available in Sydney and Melbourne to execute 3 months of 24-hour turnaround content..
would the Queensland taxpayers want to stump up millions and billions to bring big brother back home? The only way I see them returning to Queensland is if there's some sort of incentive, whether that be a cost sharing agreement and/or a massive tax credit.
I remember Queensland was really generous with incentivising productions to film on the Gold Coast previously. The only way I see them returning to Queensland is if there's some sort of incentive, whether that be a cost sharing agreement and/or a massive tax credit.
This isn’t just about the network, screen australia and local government love to have big production in the state, it creates over 300 jobs and brings in over $20 million dollars into the economy. Why would a financially struggling broadcaster who has already cut almost all Queensland operations then spend money re-expanding into Queensland for a production that is running for 3 months.. when they already have the resources available in Sydney and Melbourne to execute 3 months of 24-hour turnaround content..
Yeah maybe if you have a film like Mad Max or Pirates of the Caribbean where it’s internationally distributed and the production companies behind them have billions in capital. Big Brother however is not bringing in anywhere near that much to the local economy at all, nor does production run for long enough to see return on investment for how much 10 would have to spend upfront.Th

would the demand even be there for thousands of attendees at every BBAU live eviction in 2025?Worth remembering neither of the Seven houses were pre-existing studios. You just need a shell of a building for the house plus some outdoor space, but of course the live audience requirements is something Seven didn't worry about. I don't think we'll be seeing anything on the scale of the Dreamworld Auditorium though, but they'll want to make it look like it is.
If Australian Idol or The Voice can fill a live audience roughly the same size as what we’d see on a modern BB, I don’t think 10 would have any issue with getting bums in seats.would the demand even be there for thousands of attendees at every BBAU live eviction in 2025?
would it need to be free/very cheap in this day and age to do that though? If Australian Idol or The Voice can fill a live audience roughly the same size as what we’d see on a modern BB, I don’t think 10 would have any issue with getting bums in seats.
Weren’t they basically doing that during the Nine and late Ten era already? I’m quite certain I’ve read reports of production going in to Dreamworld and handing out tickets to anyone that would take them to fill empty seats in the auditorium.would it need to be free/very cheap in this day and age to do that though?

Hmm. Didn't it used to cost close to $100 per person to see a BBAU live eviction back in the glory days?Weren’t they basically doing that during the Nine and late Ten era already?
