Episode Survivor: Brains vs Brawn - Episode 6

…it looks like they’re one tribe again on Sunday night so that proves that last night’s ’twist’ was purely to save Rich from being booted off the show doesn’t it?… so fucking blatantly obvious,… Producer interference is the pits!… anyway… I won’t make the same mistake as last week and do realise that it’s on again on Sunday night… not tomorrow lol!… thanks for the fun tonight you wonderful people… after all… you’re my peeps!… you’re my fam!… nite all… sleep tight… pleasant wet dreams… cheers.

So they didn't even show Rich arriving at Brawn. Wasted time on the letters from home bullshit instead - no reality TV viewer ever cares!

Channel 10 need to realise less is more - these episodes are a chore and could easily lose 15 minutes. Maybe they'd be more engaging if every immunity challenge wasn't the same - heck even start with a puzzle and end with the physical element if you want to shake things up.
The tribal result at least was interesting even if the build up wasn't - but all this movement of possible alliances and the Rich tribe swap feels pointless with them shuffling the teams next episode. Can't they do something different at least one series. Suspect it'll happen in the All Stars too as they'll want to mix the Aussies with the internationals ASAP (assuming they start as separate tribes).

Max is one of those guys who is completely oblivious to what people actually think of him, which makes him very bad at playing Survivor. He's trying to position himself as a charming, impish "Agent of Chaos" type, when really he's just an irritating tool. He doesn't realise that the people who go the A of C route, like Luke or George, are actually incredibly strategic and using it to deflect (and let's face it, to be entertaining so the franchise wants them back). I think Max just blew up his game by not allowing his alliance to at least feel like they had some agency in his decision. The power went to his stupid head, and it wasn't even an advantage he earned. I find his nickname for Myles to be offensive, not witty, and so the smug look getting wiped off Max's face, and Myles little smirk of triumph was pure gold. Go Myles. I hope he and Karin make it to the end. I like the strategists and the underdogs.

The tribe swap was just because Zen left injured, they have to pad out an episode. And sending a Brain to Brawn restores the numbers.

But are they merging already? or just shuffling the tribes? Are they worried Brains are just not competitive in the physical challenges?
