I highly doubt that. Ben Norris said he was upset not to be asked and knows plenty of others were too. I think Ben from Brisbane is upset also.

considering it's been confirmed they cut 3 at minimum, I'd say no.

Perhaps! I'd say though that the newbies would have been from past auditions that almost made it. They have a tendency to do that. But I don't know.
