Carrie Bickmore: "Someone who is doing it their way is Dan Andrews. How do you rate his performance at the moment?"

Alan Jones is fantastic.
What was the legality of the Melbourne Black Lives Matter protest in June? Were any arrests made for related Facebook posts then?

Andrews just "discouraged it" but nevertheless let it go ahead. It seems to be treatment based on your political preference.
As Paul Murray always says, one rule for them, another for everyone else...

That was sickening. We really are living in a Police State.

End of the road for Ramsay St if Aussie content quotas go, producer warns
It is feared the suspension of quotas that require TV networks to air certain amounts of Australian drama, children's shows and documentaries could shut thousands of local production businesses and put homegrown shows at risk.www.abc.net.au
I can understand that the government may pause this rule because of COVID-19. But yes it seems the networks are pushing for some change to the rules. Then you can guarantee you will lose many locally made tv shows that's for sure. It's sad really how many things we have already lost in this country, now it seems like local television production will be the next thing to go...

The disturbing way families in neighbouring apartments caught COVID-19
The source of an outbreak between neighbours in a high-rise apartment complex has been uncovered by researchers - and it is not pleasant.

I was talking about your quite frankly insulting use of the word police state.

Well, why did you comment then? If you don't like my terminology but refuse to watch the content behind it it's sort of a waste of time isn't it? Or do you just post for the sake of it? To try and get a bite? And no I don't watch stupid sky news videos because I don't want to become a brain dead idiot.

Flying so high..
That was my far-flung theory when I heard about the cluster outbreaks in those high rises in Melbourne. People being forced to live together like rats in a shoe box... what could possibly go wrong?![]()

It makes sense to have high rises of such density in places like Singapore where space is scarce, but Australia is vast. Arid areas can be made fertile with enough foresight, will and planning.
