Episode I'm A Celebrity! AU (2019) - Episode Discussion

I am also missing @Mr Stickyfingers wit.

I can only imagine what he thinks of Justin. lol
I hope being a family man Sticky would get boyish Justin is just a silly kid, harmless

I recall Mr Sticky started out hating Justin, but back in January he said a post of mine caused him to re-evaluate that opinion. He is always fair and listens to others and can admit to changing his mind, which is an admirable trait.

He knows what he is doing, every guys weakness is going bald and backhair

I was reassured by the statistics tonight. If almost 50% of men go bald before 40, I'm in the fortunate half, as I still need a haircut every 6 weeks, have no bald or thinning spots and have never had a grey hair. My mum is over 70 and still has long dark brown hair, never dyed. No to backhair too, not even one. (Me, not her....)

@Meglos is gonna hate me but Justin has transitioned from gullible misguided well intentioned fool to talking about being media self aware .
What a wanker!
Nah. Hes still ok.
Cos he probs cant read anyway so the being aware of media thing is just another fantasy.

I couldn't hate you Fuzz.
Justin is a unique specimen for sure, but like all protected species I think he should be cherished and nurtured rather than vilified.
All he needs is a mirror or other shiny object and some lip-balm in his birdcage and he should happily entertain himself for hours.
He's moody and self-obsessed and likes to preen, but is a generally docile bird who doesn't peck anyone else.

Get this the season final of I'm A Celebrity will not be live this year. It will be pre-recorded and the worst part is that it will be aired 5 days later!!! What a joke! The winner will leak way before the Sunday night airdate. Ridiculous. I really hope they change their decision and air the final either next week on the Tuesday or the next night on the Wednesday. Changing Rooms can premiere a day later. I was going to give that show a chance but I won't be watching that show on principle for delaying Celebrity's final for five days. What a joke.

This series has been a great one and a dramatically improved season from last year and then they ruin it with this crap.

What colour hair do you have out of curiosity? I have tiny little hairs on my back but starting to get a hairy chest. (Late twenties)

I don't hate Justin. I don't mind him now. I get who he is. I feel a little bit sorry for him at times. He has it tough in some ways like everybody assuming he is gay when he isn't. Would I like to see him as winner though? No but I could live with it. I can just imagine the title going to his head like when he won the world record. 😂

Kind of a medium brown. Interesting fact : as a kid it was more a reddish brown, but as a teenager I had it "frosted" blonde, and after the blonde grew out, it remained permanently more brown than before (ie, the red tinge had gone forever).

Where did they come up with what people are saying about the campmates.

No where on facebook, have I seen people post that Justin was a wheel of emotion, nor Angie as meme girl etc.

It has Alex written all over it.

Agreed, it's just ridiculous. No one but a television executive would call someone a "wheel of emotion".
However, if Justin knew what they were actually saying on facebook (clue : it's close to what @adsyj says on here) then he'd really have a reason to be upset.

Totally agree.
I cant really see how he would raise ire in anyone. Perhaps slight annoyance at best. Even when when he "behaves badly" its more in the essence of a naughty puppy dog.

The silence was deafening when Angie was using her chapstick last night, but if it was Justin, it would be, he loves himself so much.

Renewed: I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here

EXCLUSIVE: 10 has confirmed a renewal for I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here after revamping its summer offering in the face of Sport heavyweights.

The ITV Studios Australia show launched with over a million viewers with a likeable 2019 cast in a shortened season and two hosts with chemistry that just gets better every season.

While numbers have dipped against reality juggernauts Married at First Sight & My Kitchen Rules, the revamp is part of a wider strategy for summer Entertainment and to promote new survey offerings Dancing with the Stars, Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway and Changing Rooms.

A 10 spokesperson told TV Tonight, “This is a show that has shown growth in ratings, had two episodes over one million people and is performing very well in our under 50’s demographic. This creative, hardworking, fun loving and professional reality team along with Chris and Julia and a very engaging cast have brought us a really unique series of I’m A Celebrity.

“Those who know anything about TV understand how hard it is to produce a show like Celebrity and how well it is performing. It launched against 2 massive sporting weeks and outperformed the cricket on every clash and competed strongly with the Tennis, beating it 5 out of 9 nights! Since the reality big guns have started it has lost some overnight viewers as we expected but continues doing well in demo and exceptionally well on our digital services.

“We said last year we planned to redefine Summer viewing in order to better service our audiences and I’m a Celebrity was the first phase of that strategy and we consider it a success.

“We will be doing it all again next year, bigger and better ….”

The ratings have been better this series.

I think the reason is, people don't want the bullies that have been on previous years.

And the fake enemies in the camp.
