I’m a Celebrity finale won’t be Live this year

10 has a big chunk of Live entertainment coming our way but the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here finale won’t be one of them.

A Network 10 spokesperson said: “The I’m A Celeb finale will be prerecorded and air as live from South Africa on Sunday 17 February at 7.30pm on 10.”
The penultimate episode is next Tuesday when an elimination will leave 3 contestants remaining. 10 will then launch Changing Rooms across Wednesday 13 & Thursday February 14. That means 4-5 days of no episodes, a long time to sit around in the jungle, and a very expensive exercise for the hefty show crew.

Hence Chris & Julia will record the finale this year and head home to prepare for Sunday Night Takeaway.

Voting rules and cut-off for the finale are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile 10 has also clarified a slip of the tongue by Julia Morris on voting strategy after she told Katherine Kelly Lang that votes “accumulate” leading to some concerns about fairness.

“Julia Morris was comforting eliminated celebrity Katherine Kelly Lang and meant that the celebrities popularity accumulates over time, not the votes,” the spokesperson said.

“Votes are reset after every elimination.”

I don't get why Yvie would be in the bottom 3 but not Angie. At least Yvie has some redeeming qualities

Perhaps angie more of a (wrong) role model to teenage girl voters.
Tho parents money spent voting means less chance of tattooed eyebrows for their sweet 16th birthday.
 
Angie started that fight with Justin.

She started at the very start.

And then pulled the I was shocked etc card with the others.

Not to be controversial but I find this show quite boring. Compared to MAFS which has drama and idiots fighting at a dinner table which is great viewing. Ha ha.

I will be watching Dancing with the Stars when it returns Monday week though. :D

Another worthy elimination, so far so good.

Are we supposed to be siding with poor "just trying to help" Angie rather than Justin? She has done nothing but niggle at him since day one. He might not be brilliant but he's smart enough to notice that her intentions towards him are never good.

I thought of @Mr Stickyfingers when Richard was discussing Karl Stiffynodick.
