the random 'LIVE' thread...

...oh wow!... colour me so impressed with Grants new show... that was absolute pure fun for me at least... Grant makes that show with his fun dynamic personality and the show was built around him methinks!... he will enjoy doing this show way more than 'Family Feud'... he is boundless in this show... 10/10 from me in entertainment value that's for sure... thanks for posting kxk/oddjob and Affable... it was fun... cheers.

I channel surfed tonight, and I've never seen so much rubbish in my life. And I usually like rubbish. Tonight's offering was woeful.

...oh wow!... and here's me loving it to death!... I guess that we can't all like the same shows all of the time davidftw lol!... I thought that there were no taxing of the brain cells which made it fun and relaxing for me but I guess that it's obviously not everyone's cup of tea... oh well... they can't win them all eh?... lol!... cheers.

This show should do well in his family slot

Enough for me for now, switching to this....

Dying Laughing
SBS, 8:40pm, Sun, 7 Oct 2018, 105 minutes

Dying Laughing is a candid look inside the agony and ecstasy of making people laugh for a living. The funny and heartfelt documentary contains original interviews interlaced with personal footage of life on the road - all from a comedian's point of view. Once you take this step behind the curtain, you will never look at these funny folks the same way again. Features Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart, and more.

This is pretty dark.

I taped Grant's show, and watch Julia's. What a load of crap that was. Very poor karaoke singers.
Only possibly 3 of the "100" judges are famous - there's Ronan Keating, Rhonda Burchmore, and Mark Gable out of the Choirboys (Run To Paradise). And there's a Tarasai, who must be the one Mark Holden used to go crazy over on Australian Idol.
And a fifth - @Mr Stickyfingers, one of them is that Jordan from Whovians.

The contestants on Game of Games I saw were all so punchable. The only highlight of tonights watching was when Grant asked the big bearded dude what his wife's name was after getting married in July and he said "Bruce".

As long as we still both like Survivor, that is the most important thing! 😚

...I'm watching Grant's 'Game of Games' and really am enjoying the games themselves but seriously... the absolute fake over reactions of the contestants is really doing my head in... as I've said along similar lines before now... there's a difference between being over enthusiastic and excited to being just plain silly with their really over-exaggerated reactions to their situations... they are acting like idiots... for me at least... it's spoiling the fun of the show for me... I wish that they would bring it back a few notches just for me to keep my sanity if nothing else... the show is fun... most of the contestants are not... **takes grumpy old man cap off now**... cheers.

Grant show is not for me
I watch SBS/ABC sundays, currently Italian Hidden Cities.......OMG it is spectacular
The graphics as they scan cities are spectacular, and they do virtual reality stuff, it is fantastic

And such awesome info, Florence & Pisa last night, so much about that tower I never knew
It feels like you are there, and there is more stuff online, like city x-rays
They show you such hidden secrets, like Michelangelo's hiding spots when he had to run away from the Medici, sketches all over the walls
