Love Island Australia - Coming to 9Go & 9Now

I was hoping this place might have a thread about this show. It’s the closest thing to big brother on Aus tv. Tonight I officially became hooked though. Finished watching episode where Cassidy flip flops with with her feelings and then followed by that awesome voting out by Eden. But I liked Justin. But I loved the game changer by making Eden choose between them. This will def cause some divide in the villa- drama!

Oh and josh is my fave. Love the way he makes up bs and the others believe it. Like when grant asked if he ever went to uni- bahahaha

I am glad you enjoyed it. Tonight I decided that it will be the last episode that I will be watching.

Eden and Erin are narcissistic and disgusting yet they are obviously Australia's favourite. Sometimes I question the taste of the Australian public.

Really?!

I think the show needed to make the villa make these decisions. They are all playing nice and I don’t truly buy it. Creating this tension will mean that a divide will happen and it’s not Eden or Erin leading the pack. Because I think everyone seems to get their approval about everything so hopefully this will mean contestants will start breaking away

they are the favourites because erin is the best.

Massive, crushing disappointment at the way this show has turned out.
I will keep watching because I made a commitment, but losing Justin takes with it my last glimmer of enjoyment and entertainment.
Leaving the final decision to the two biggest airhead bogans in there was a ridiculous decision.
And shame on the public for falling for the showmances and voting the obvious couples through. It's discrimination because Justin doesn't fit the macho guy cookie cutter mould.
On top of that, the new guy is another "love me do" twonk, as Mr Stickyfingers would say.

...evenin' all... aw man!... MasterChef was so stressful for me tonight... smart move to leave when you did kxk by the way... cheers.

Masterchef and Love Island were both stressful for me. I don't mean to come across as a saddo whose life is actually changed by what happens on reality shows, I mean I'm not going to bed crying into my pillow, but to a degree it DOES matter, because it would be a waste of time watching anything if you didn't invest in at least some part of it. You need some positive vibes to remind you that there is still good in humanity and it isn't all lust and ego, but sometimes it's more difficult than others.

Because they are not brave enough to find out what Justin wants. I'm not saying he's gay or straight because of course I wouldn't know... BUT... he does seem effeminate to me and who knows, if he wasn't surrounded by such a macho bunch he may have been able to open up a little more. He often referred to finding the right "person" rather than "girl", and the show didn't allow for him, or anyone else, to explore that avenue, because they want to fit everyone into neat little boxes.

i was more thinking of him being friendzoned by mopey millie, who cruelly judges people for not falling in love by a certain age.

Agree. They should have made everyone vote.
