It's self-effacing. His mock horror at the girls saying Dom was the best looking was clearly just that - mock horror, not serious at all.
Justin knows he's good looking, it's his profession, but I think he is aware of the stereotypes and plays on them.

i noticed a trace of bitterness, especially when his one true love mopey millie is chasing after dom.
...as you say Meglos... it may be his idea of humour and that for the cameras it may be self-effacing but I honestly believe that deep inside he really does believe that nobody can be better looking than himself... whether or not it's to do with his profession... he really does believe it within his core... that's why he's a sad git as far as I'm concerned... if the only worry in his life is whether or not he's the 'best looking' in the room then that's sad in my opinion... whether he says it with a sense of humour or not... cheers.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Justin. Apart from commenting along with you guys, he is the only thing keeping me watching. He is the only guy there who I think is good looking (being straight, I don't expect you two to see that). Beyond that though, I find him funny, quirky and more sensitive than all the other guys combined. Whether or not the other girls find him attractive or not is completely irrelevant to me, as they are extremely vacuous with a penchant for muscles, long hair and blokey bloke sexist attitudes.

Completely agree. To me he is the best looking guy in there with the best personality out of all the guys. All the girls in there are very superficial, it's no wonder they are single.

i'm still supporting the cassidy/josh pairing...for now. but if cassidy stupidly goes after dom just because he is tall, or if Josh doesn't step up to the plate with cassidy, then i'll be off the two of them by next week. maybe even earlier than that.

I initially decided to watch this show on the basis of Sophie Monk being involved. Now, I think "involved" is too strong a word, as is
"host". I wonder why she agreed to do such an undemanding job, and why anyone thought the minimal role she plays even needed a celebrity.

...I have no doubt that he does probably have the best sense of humour out of all of them because let's face it... NONE of the others even have personalities let alone senses of humour... so he is leagues ahead of them... I'll be honest with you Meglos... I cannot stand anybody on the Island... but!... Justin and Josh are separating from the herd of morons more and more each day by showing their superiority by taking advantage of the other guys idiocies/vanities and gullibilities... so there is hope for them yet... lol!...
...and... I actually thought that Charlie was probably the best looking one on the Island to be honest but that point is moot being that he's not there now... but sadly... I cannot chose any of the girls as being the prettiest because they are all so fake to me... so there you go lol!... cheers.

I'm so glad that you said what I've been thinking all along my friend lol!... we never actually see anything of her 90% of the time... it's easy money for her for sure... and... when people talked me into giving this show a chance it was only because of Sophie's involvement in the show that got me in and eventually the "I won't be the first to quit" challenge that actually keeps me here lol!... but yes... we were definitely suckered into this show in regards to Sophie's involvement that's for sure... I'd ask for my money back but that's going to get me anywhere but I could always sue Channel 9 for all of those hours of my life that I have lost since I started watching this show I guess?... lol!... cheers.

Charlie was good looking, and much more of a regular person than the others. It was a travesty that he was voted out first.
I'd love to see a natural looking girl in there. Why does everyone have to be thin? I know it's the ideal for these younger generations, but there really is more to life than tiny waistlines, toned buttocks, big boobs and bleached blonde hair. (I expect reepbot to disagree with that bit, lol).
