The Bachelorette 2017

supposedly - she often was on their show - sometimes filling in if one of them was sick - and her BFF who she's been hiding out with in Thailand used to be a producer on their show/network

they always ask sleazy questions - shock jock sort of stuff - after a while it just gets same ole same ole - I only have a 10 minute commute to the office but even 10 minutes got to be too much for me and I turned off ages ago

Plus Jackie O (can't stand her either) would know Sophie from Popstars.

I wasn't trying to justify bad behavior. I was just pointing out that you really can't judge someone's true character based on how they handle rejection, because humans are way too complex for that. I'm not saying you can't judge someone for their behavior.

Sorry but yes you did.

I wasn't talking about the show, I just disagree that you can judge someone based on how they react to rejection.

And I will continue to judge this guy harshly for being such a douche through these interviews etc. He is showing an absolute lack of dignity and respect for Sophie or himself.

How am I justifying bad behavior?

What I meant was the two comments I quoted above contradict each other . 1 says

I'm not saying you can't judge someone for their behavior

the other

I just disagree that you can judge someone based on how they react to rejection

I am not saying these statements on their own equate to justifying bad behaviour, They just contradict each other.

I was saying that you can't judge someones character by how they react to rejection, but you can judge their behavior. To me judging someone's character is more complex than that.

Exactly. The behavior in the second statement being the reaction to the rejection. They definitely contradict.

I wonder how Bachelor in Paradise will affect The Bachelor(ette) next year.

Might open the way for a new guy lead and female lead. Can send the rejects to Paradise, ha ha.

I wish this season had gone longer one single date each is not long enough for us to really see who the connections are with. I hope it doesn't make it any shorter.

Did it go a similar length to Matty's season? I remember some girls didn't end up getting a single date as he did second dates, ha ha.

Hopefully casting does a better job next time around.

I think Matty's went longer. She rejected a lot at a time (there were lots to reject! ) So all of a sudden we were down to 4

yes? i never said anything different. i was talking about someone's true character. i don't think the way someone reacts to rejection shows their true character.
So if they do turn out to be abusive, or a stalker or worse, then that is not their true character? Or in the case of Blake, how he is reacting and slagging Sophie off, does that not tell you something about his true character?
