Masterchef 2017

Wow I'm really behind on this thread.

Ratings update: Masterchef's ratings slip even further, last week not one episode managed to even come close to 800,000 viewers.

Current series average: 930,000
I've decided to change my prediction and say that series may only average at 900,000 and I'm also doubtful that the finale will even reach 1.8 million.

As for my take on the contestants my faves atm are:
Sam, Sarah, Eliza, Eloise, Samuel, Karlie and Tamara.
The contestants I'm pretty meh with are: Ben, Callan and Nicole.
I dislike: Ray and Michelle and Diana and Arum.

Tonight I hope it's either Arum or Diana that go, their bland and rarely get any air time. Diana is this years elena and I don't want a quiet person to win again. I love the other 5 and I don't want any of them to go. If Sam goes tonight I will boycott the series.

I am really upset the blue team won. So many bootables on the blue team, so many nice contenders on the green team, and there's no-one I want gone on it - maybe all this overdoing of Tamara in the edit the last week is foreshadowing of an early demise???

Will be spewing if Sarah, Sam, Samuel, or Arum go.

Wouldn't it be funny if it's Tamara's time, and @Mr Stickyfingers misses it. I half want her to stay so he isn't denied that moment.

Me too!

Karli is this years Billie...

...hey you wonderful people... being that after tonight's show I won't be here for Wednesdays/Thursdays and Sunday nights shows due to my trip to Qld for a few days I thought that I'd put up some fun (for me anyway lol!) Photoshops just to make some statements I guess?... lol!... starting with this one... you actually inspired this one Melore so it's dedicated to you and amazingly it also fits in with what you said in your post too lynn-ann lol!... here it is... cheers.

I loved that meme, Mr. Sticky. Thank you for making it and nailing what transpires. :D

Oh well, they're already asking for people to apply for next years Masterchef so I guess they're not too worried.

My overall favourite is Sarah...she is amazing. I actually don't mind Ben for some reason. Callan is young and very sweet and talented. I hope young Sam stays. I went off Samuel a bit tonight because he was just too cocky, I thought. Poor Ray...he is so out of his depth and way to slow yet , once again, he is safe. (and, yes, BIG YUK to dripping sweat). Strangely enough, I actually think Nicole is a dark horse and seems to actually have good ideas and talent (whenever they show her, anyway). Still sad Pete has gone. He was just funny and entertaining. :'(

Does anyone watch the British Masterchef? A lot of people don't like it but it's actually my fave because it really is all about the food and you don't get the background/sob stories until the final 3. I think maybe it's "clinical" no frills approach puts people off but it I love that about it.
And it has this guy: (Swoon)

Ok, it's on

They need to identify ingredients - not by taste, touch or smell

Just a cross section.

The first 3 with incorrect guesses go to round 2

I find it a tad dull compared with ours.
