I am amazed that none of them have ended up sick by eating this stuff. Surely there would be upset stomachs etc.
Maybe it is all set up and it isn't that bad after all - they may make it salty or something to make them react to the taste, but it actually isn't as bad as they make it sound?

I've thought the same, like surely they don't tip actual animal shit over them. But then you see the flies, so whatever it is, it's just as bad.

It is actually based on food eaten in Africa, everything and nothing can be wasted, they have an special African chef.
But - they do add extra crap and mix things together unusually

I am under the impression that gut and bowel issues are par for the course. They'd have to be. Just the fact of not being able to bathe, do a proper toilet etc would be excruciating, for starters.

I think there have been fewer eating challenges actually, and they have added in far more of the throwing crap all over you tasks.
And far fewer scary put your hands in with crap & bugs
