No other reason really. He was engaging, adaptable and funny.

Ok, most of us don't vote; most viewers don't vote; Queer Eye was on, what, a decade ago; he was an intruder so not as much time for storylines and viewer bonding; and everyone in camp more or less likes him so he has no conflict to compel viewers to throw him an underdog vote.
