Good Moanin faux T thread!

26 years ago today I was being prepped for a caesarean. I was terrified and alone and was two and a half hours away from holding the best mistake I would ever make. He was a magazine perfect baby, with a touch of jaundice which gave him like a suntan. He had eyes like sapphires and white hair and it was love at first sight.

He has been a beautiful son who was the first person to ever show me unconditional love.

Happy giving birth day to me!

Which tooth is crooked? They look ok to me.
To work that out you would first need to save, then magnify the pictures I have shared in here, then go over every pic with a magnifying glass!

I swear he created a Trala wall just so he could have a place to fixate and loath on me daily.

Well as someone from a long line of outsourcers I am legit impressed.

So great to hear that Mr Mutley is great too! Oh and Jordan is back?? So many lost OT members, and we all know why, at least partly why.
He was in Sydney on the weekend drinking craft beer with D grade celebs!

He is off to America next year! Tickets booked and all!

Not sure if he is back back, but I had a nice Pm from him last time I popped in. I have a Caspersmum update. Her beloved Casper died a few months ago, then Caspers actual mum died two weeks ago, so she was broken-hearted and catless and then in walks a grumpy rescue cat called Rocky and her smile is back :)

Happy birthday to your boy, how lucky are we to have such great sons that love us as much as we love them. You did great with raising him, I see that in the posts he tags you in. Fancy that I had a c section too, oh the pain

Naw that's so sweet! I adore the way you speak of him on here and no doubt the feeling is reciprocated. Hope you both had a nice day!

I liked this for the mutley part, mucho excitement NOT the part with Casper's Mum, so sad! Although Rocky the rescue is a nice ending!

I don't know if I mentioned it but a local stray cat had three kittens maybe a month before I moved in to my apartment here in Phnom Penh. I would feed them just to give them a better start in life. However my landlady told me off for feeding them as it meant they would hang around and shit in their courtyard (which they use as a kitchen, which is typical for local Cambodian families).

So I cut back the feeding only to times when they came begging... but they had all become friendly and accustomed to human contact and even used the kitty litter tray I provided so they are pretty much domesticated.

Anyway I'm on a very limited budget here, so when I ran out of cat litter and food I cut them loose. They're now six months old and should be able to scavenge for themselves (there are some very juicy rats around!)

I had always intended to get the female spayed but after I stopped feeding them I didn't see her for a few days until yesterday, when she turned up with a nasty cut to her right, um, "armpit", if you know what I mean. So I bundled her up and took her to the Animal Welfare society.

I have just collected her. She has three stitches for the cut and two more for being spayed. And she stinks of piss because she just spent the night in her little cage. She was very happy to see me. She's on the balcony cleaning herself (thank god). She will have to stay inside for the next week until the stitches get taken out.

She is so adorable!

I almost cried at PPAWS though. They have a dog with two legs (front ones). Apparently someone tried to trap her for dog food (maybe in a gin trap or something) and she ended up with paralysed back legs they had to amputate. She shuffles around on her front legs and even though they made her a little wheelchair/trolley she doesn't like it and is happy to shuffle around on her own. She'll live out the rest of her days there. Poor thing!

So sad... I love animals and fellow animal lovers so you are awesome in my books!

as much as I just LOVE where I have landed and am now living - there is one negative here and that is TIGER SNAKES ............Seen too many and one was very close to me today. It got a Kiss from me, with a capitol D - It came down to it or me ..... You are not allowed to exterminate these creatures by law - it was a fight to the end, and that is my story and I am sticking to it ....... Was very scarey.

Yikes! Glad you were victorious on this occasion.

Good Moanin faux T Thread!

Summer has hit us square in the face! It was 37 degrees here yesterday!

I am still waiting to change wards. My NUM has voiced she would prefer I wait till after the New Year to go on a 6 week ward change. I am happy to wait, my NUM has been so good to me.

Off to top up my botulism levels today :)

Hope you are all well and living your dream. Speaking of dreams, how is your new palace coming along, Timmy?

If you are lurking, don't forget to pop in and say hi!

Hiya Lalas

My plans are with the planners. As with everything here, the rules change overnight, so instead of paying $100 for the planning app it was suddenly $1000 (not sure if the receipt will actually reflect that value, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get stuff done sometimes). It was Independence Day on Wednesday and it's Water Festival Sun-Tue so pretty much a week of holidays in which nothing will proceed. But hoping for the go ahead next week.

Moving to a smaller apartment closer to the 'shack' next week so I'll be 15 mins walking distance away during the build.

Wet season is just ending here, really went out with a bang last week, but hasn't rained for three days now so I'm hoping that was the end of it. Temps are 30-32C which is awesome, heading into "winter" now so the daily highs will dip under 30 in December and January. I'll have to pull out my jeans and jumpers :)

Take it easy with the 'tox... try not to get your face frozen into a Julie Bishop death stare or anything. O_O

Thanks KK!

How is your life?

Xo

:)
Hello. Well entrenched in my night shift and make up day shift routines, with some diversions along the way to mix it up. Got back into the gym yesterday for a p/t session and my knees and hips protest in a good way today.
What sort of ward are you going to?

I will PM you. Wayne Brown is has changed how we share information. :(

I am on a fitness kick myself. I have been working out 3 times a week, walking 10000 steps daily and swimming laps and it feels great!

You rostered on over Xmas? I am on day shift.
