Yes, I think it's her body shape that does not suit the dress.

Poor William - the Windsor genes are strong in him. He is the male version of the Queen. The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree. Maybe the all over shave is the best option? The Royal Family should be thankful for Kate's genes

Yes and Kate can never let him go frumpy. He always has to remain posh and thin.
