been there done that ... why the hell didnt it sink in the first time ... but nooo I went back fir more!?
No idea!

I am attempting risotto for the first time ever tonight. I have heard it can be super difficult to make, so fingers crossed. One plus, the recipe doesn't call for the frypan to go into the oven!

Good morning!

You are up early post night shift! How long do you sleep?!
Not working tonight so got three hours sleep this morning. Staying out of the flat until about 2100 then I'll go home. Hopefully asleep around 2230 to be up at 0500 tomorrow. Usually though I go to bed immediately on getting home around 0710, asleep after reading around 0730, up for a few hours from about 1130, back to bed by 1500 at the latest, up at 1900 and then organise myself to go to work. It's very disjointed but it works for me.

Oh when I did nightshift, I'd be in bed around 10 and sleep until maybe 5. Didn't matter how much I slept, I would still be tired. How long are your night shifts? Ours were 91/2 hours. Wouldn't give us 10 hours because then they would have to give you an extra day off.

It's actually not difficult. Just that you need to stir in the stock more slowly than with other dishes. You need to be at the pan for the whole half hour. But it's Very Very Delicious once you get a good recipe down. And I always put wine (usu white) in it. I think it makes it just that little bit better. Some recipes don't call for wine. Avoid hose recipes - or put wine in it anyway![DOUBLEPOST=1466592752][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm not buying what you are selling.
That's a bit funny, shadow!!

Sorry to hear! If one person wanted to buy it then that means it is obviously sellable so don't worry another bigger and better offer will come along.

(Ignore WB liking your post too, he is desperately trying to cling onto his bitterness now that he keeps getting banned from threads)
How is he able to Like a post in a thread he is banned from anyway? Can you do that?? That seems strange...

Yeah that is what I thought about a bigger and better offer - time is running out and it is time to move on - for many reasons. I don't understand people putting in an offer, and 1 month later it is defuncted!!!!!!!!!! Got someone coming this weekend for a looksee, we will see ......

Sure is ...... anyway ...... all getting a bit boring and it just shows his hate towards others on here, at least that is what I see. Life is about moving on. Some make MIS-TAKES - and share their experience, for others to relate and maybe learn from ....... but he then is all over it like a tiger that has not eaten for like 25 years! Do not understand that he can like a post, if he is banned - so maybe he has not been banned???? I have no idea, nor do I care anymore. He does not seem to have any form of compassion or understanding of the Human Race .............

Pics? No Pics? LOL I have never tried cooking a risotto - I think I need to watch something on TV, or have a friend with me in the Kitchen whilst attemping that feat!

Does anyone believe in Ghosts, Spirits left behind or people that have passed over still being around them?

I had an interesting conversation with an Undertaker tonight (I have never meet someone in that profession before) and we shared some cool stories :)

He spoke of many instances and I shared my Dad visiting, at the time of his passing. Be Interested if anyone here has felt that they have had a connection when loved ones have left xxxxxxxx

Well, ALDI opened up here today - and I stayed way! Amazing that I have 2 Woolies and 2 Coles all within 15 mins of here and now ALDI LOL

Ooohhhh have fun studying. Your gonna smash it!

I'm loving my Job, went shopping for a client yesterday for the first time. Was so easy! Can I please do that every day lol.
Haha we have the same job at the moment. That's what I often do!! (When I am not at Uni or teaching technical English)

I never cook with wine, I'm too busy drinking it, haha. Joke aside, I make a good mushroom risotto and have put white wine in it, but much prefer it without the wine. I use swissa brown and cup mushrooms. I occasionally put peas in it. I love peas.

Seriously, have a Frozen moment and Let. It. Go. everyone. (me included after this comment) The whole thing is not worth mentioning anymore.

Good Moanin OT thread!

State of Orgin Title is ours for another year!!!!

I couldn't give two fucks, but it makes my partner super happy!

VICTORIAN!

I couldn't give two hoots either but I can't stand the colour maroon and blue is my favourite colour, so I always go for the Blues (and the Carlton Blues). What are you doing up at this hour on holiday? I'm off to the gym shortly then work.

It was delicious, but as you have pointed out, time consuming to make due to the ladling and constant stirring of the stock into the rice.

I made a mushroom risotto with thyme and Parmesan. Tbh it was the first time I had ever eaten a mushroom that wasn't a button or a gold top, and I was pleased to find the very odd looking mushrooms were delicious!

I have been choosing 3 completely new recipes every week. It is so nice to mix it up. For the past year I seem to have cooked the same things every week. Makes the process of preparing the meal uninspiring.

Go the grubbers!
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Good morning my darling!

What are your plans?

Side note: when my mum was loving, she used to call me and my brothers for that matter "my darling". Just to type it makes me feel nice inside. It is a warm memory for me.
