jefferies is sure loving this in some weird perverted way. like some sort of peeping tom. but are we the viewers also guilty for watching this film? no. i don't think so. or maybe we are. hard to say.

lisa has been seduced by the mystery. her voyeuristic nature has come to the fore.
finally the word murder is uttered.
so he rings the detective. why wouldn't he ring the police? like offically? maybe it shows that he can't be sure of what he saw. a sign of himdoubting himself. because being stuck in the apartment he can only see so much.
two men, they look like delivery people in thorwald's apartment to take away another suitcase!
ohhhh now Stella is joining in with solving the mystery.
ahhh, she didn't get the freight truck name or number. too bad.
so now his friend the detective is here.
he doesn't seem to believe his friend.
but he has a point. there might be another explanation. though he does seem interested enough to have a look into it. or maybe he just wants to placate his friend?

jimmy really seems invested in this case! does he care about justice? finding out the truth?

poor misss lonely hearts. though should i feel sorry for her? i don't think she wants anyone's pity. all she is trying to look for is love and i think that is quite brave.

doyle's words and the viewing of miss lonelyhearts seem to be making jimmy and lisa rethinking their position. thinking about it it makes them very uncomfortable.
lisa asks a very interesting question about why shouldn't they be happy if anna thorwald is alive.
