Episode I'm A Celebrity! AU (2016) - Episode Discussion

Wow. Just wow. That's a bit rude. The other is right here!

It's funny how some people talk about people in front of their faces as if they are talking about them behind their backs and try to garner a cohort to agree with them, and then congratulate themselves for ostensibly having clear minds and fluid opinions, while missing nuance, subtext and factual footage! Oh well.

lol I hadn't even read your post when I typed mine. You'd notice that mine was right under yours meaning that we were typing at the same time. I wasn't even referring to you when I typed it. I wasn't referring to any one particular person.
I just find it funny that people interpret someone's looks, facial expressions etc in different ways depending on what they think about them (including when they like them).
People can think what they like, I don't know if anyone agrees with my opinion or not, that's not why I said it. If nobody else thought what I did it wouldn't stop me thinking it, nor should my opinion change the way you think. There is no right or wrong after all.

Yeah, well, I blame it on the lunar eclipse. I do think there is a right and a wrong, that is beyond personal opinions - but I also think it's fine to just say well, I don't share that opinion, I have this opinion.

The phrase about lacking fluidity really got up my nose.

Everyone, carry on.

Shane didn't have to pull Anthony aside at all really. He chose to for some unknown reason. Leave them alone Shane and they'll dig their own graves, so to speak.

No, he didn't have to, he chose to - I agree. My point was if there was not some unpleasantness going on, there would have been no need for anyone to even consider doing such a thing.

Okay I get that. I probably shouldn't have put it that way but it had bothered me that even though the girls seemed to be over it people talking about it weren't. I didn't mean to offend you though in any case.

Still haven't caught up. Oh well. Will go straight into watching tonight's show not bothering with last nights until I can watch it.

For those that follow social media, what seems to be the people's opinion on who may go?

If Laurina had done it, it would have been disgusting, unladylike and infinitely offensive. Since it was Fev, it's hilarious. Haw haw haw.

It was more sad seeing the demise of the inflatable couch that seeing the demise of inflatable Jo Beth. Pretty glad she's gone, she was contributing nothing there at the end. Plus I think she's only pretending to "like" Laurina to save face. She's much too mature to hold a grudge, don't ya know. All her compliments are always underhanded or self serving - anyone else noticed that?
Yes, I have noticed that. It's like when she tries to casually bring up something she didn't like too. She does this thing where she acts as if it is no big deal, but points out what someone does and then leaves it there to be interpreted wrongly. I would rather someone straight up said what it was they don't like rather than manipulate what they say in a nice way.

...Jo Beth was just on 'The Project' and was saying nice things about Laurina (damage control to save her 'nice girl' image perhaps?)... and was asked about her comments of Daryl Somers... she says that her comments of him were just a small part of a bigger conversation and that bad editing has put her words 'out of context'... apparently she texted Daryl and hasn't heard back from him since... (surprise surprise!)... it'll be an even bigger surprise when she is not back on the revamped 'Hey Hey it's Saturday' if it ever goes to air lol!... she's eating a lot of humble pie methinks!... silly girl... and I used to love her so much at one stage... :frown::sorry:... cheers.

I think it might be hard to get rid of Warnie. I just noticed on Twitter Indian cricketers who have a minimum 5million followers are urging their followers to get behind Warnie

Help save @ShaneWarne on #ImACelebrityAU by retweeting #CelebShane - go Warnie!!

Virender Sehwag has 5.3 million followers alone, and Warnie is a god in India.

I think this might be a done deal.

Warnie getting narky over his son playing lawn bowls. It's not my cuppa tea but seriously, if your teenager is happy and isn't hurting anyone .. GET OVER IT!!! Cricket is pretty bloody boring, stupid game as far as I am concerned.
Was pretty much going to post the same thing. Your life is about you Shane, you're kids lives aren't about you.

And really, if this is going to be the Warnie show for the rest of it. I'm out.
