Finally got a day off!Helloooooooo you, great! How you be? What's new?
Today I am planning a day of Trala!
I am getting my lashes did, then it's out to lunch, then I am going to embark on a Shameless-a-thon.
For the first time since he fell unwell, Frank is showing signs he is back to his mischievous self. He just attacked my feet all the way to the kitchen!

Sounds fab! Glad Frank is starting to get back to his old self!

I said to my partner last night, I am actually missing his mischief.
He hasn't attacked Billy, or chewed non chewables, or chased his ball in over a week!
I am shooting my face up on Friday in my constant quest to plump my sagging jowels. They have a special on fillers.

I am thinking a wee bit in the lips again.
I have a nursing story, but don't want to appear insensitive to Danny's loss.
I had my first experience with a deceased patient yesterday, and I had to get helped to a chair by staff, and have a nurse bring me water.
While I have been involved in many palliative cares, I have never seen a three hour old deceased body as it was being wrapped and transferred to the morgue. I thought I was going to faint. I got hot and cold at the same time. It was awful. Thankfully the family had left. And we were waiting for the client to be transferred.
I was mortified at my response and terrified I will do it again when faced with the same situation.
He really is.Hahahahaha!!!
He is so adorable.
He is so naughty with a sprinkle of nice.

That inital response to a deceased body can be very strange and unexpected. I always approached bodies slowly and respectfully when I had to be near them in the trauma centre as they don't look the same and I wasn't sure of my potential response. I am sure you will be ok should there be a next time.He is adorable!

I felt so incompetent. I was literally frozen in the spot.
I was so impressed with the way the guys from the morgue handled the client. It was so respectful and gentle. They never stopped talking to her, explaining what they were about to do before they wrapped her, while I just stood there gaping.
I spent a lot of time thinking about it last night, and in essence, I made a situation they was not about me, all about me.
I had a debrief with the educator and he said your first is always confronting, but it gets easier. I really hope it does.

Your first time is always the worse. It is so confronting, but you will work out strategies to overcome it, and it becomes easier. Debriefing is always good, and leaving it at work is too. And I am just a message away if you need to chat about it xxI hope so.

Hey Lovely, On paper yes haha, reality is lots of time on planes! Be up there next weekend. Speaking of Jetsetter, we planning a trip to NY, LA and SF by end of year, anyone have any tips of good places to visit while there?

Oh sounds good, travelling time aside. But ok that holiday sounds awesome - lucky things! I was in NY and LA in 2014, it was so good, let me try remember back that far! A taxi driver told me to stay away from west Hollywood as there were too many gay people there

I loved SF, haven't been to the other two. Anything and everything in SF is good. Get up to the Napa Valley if you can if you like wineries.Hey Lovely, On paper yes haha, reality is lots of time on planes! Be up there next weekend. Instant Karma for me the other day, I was pretending not to see Frank shit on a lawn, then my dogs got tangled, and I bent down to sort it, and my favourite pen fell straight in the dog poo!!!!
LOL - I am sure you were intending to pick up that Crap? Littlle doggie = little crap - Big Dog - need a shopping bag!
Did you recover the Pen? Was it a felt tipped one? They are my Favorites

I actually prize myself on my Dogs Poo - and I am quite happy to collect them, well for a bit till I get to the bin.
I know if I have her Diet right, if it is a solid and if not to smelly, I am so proud.
I suppose that all sounds a bit weird ...............
