What would reepbot say?

depression is something that most will never understand, unless they have lived it or shared it or studied it.
That attitude probably needs to stop. If people aren't capable of understanding it, they shouldn't be expected to care or pour money towards it via tax. While it continues to draw significant tax spending, unaffected people get a say. Sorry, not sorry. I think a small portion of society is genuinely mentally unwell, but farmers overmortgaging their farm betting on rain is not depression or society's problem. It's circumstantial economic sadness and self pity. There is way too much feeling sorry for yourself in this country for conditions that are even written into the national anthem and obvious on maps. If you can predict a future depression by current mortgage status and weather patterns...it's not a mental illness in my books.

Back when Ansett was busy going broke, there were employees crying and handing out flyers about loss of entitlements and the levy to support their suffering. I genuinely gasped and asked them their understanding of the IT industry circa 2000. They had never seen an airline fold and had previously had job security. In IT back then, companies folding was perfectly normal and job security was non existent. Entitlements...let's just say that you didn't let entitlements build up too much unless you didn't want them. These Ansett workers were crying and getting depressed over conditions which were entirely normal in IT and wouldn't phase us, yet Ansett got the hand-holding levy that IT never would.

I'm in two minds here, my body looks alright thanks solely to genetics and definitely not my lifestyle, but it has physical limitations and some underperforming organs so I kind of hate it for letting me down so much over the years.

My body makes me appreciate the better parts of myself. I think i have ok genetics.

Ive only seen glimpses but I dont know how helpful this show actually is.
I really would like to see one of these shows where the skinny person actually eats a lot, and the overweight person eats healthy portions or hardly eats at all, rather than always feeding the stereotypes of skinny=never eats/only eats lettuce, overweight=always eats cakes and fried foods.

No. I have always felt like this.
I think you should just look at it in terms of whether your body is fair. Tyson Beckford does 1000 push ups a day to be buff. I honestly think you should work you way up to that just to know what it's like. The sad truth is they are good for you even for non peacock reasons. I hated them once. Do it. Work your way up via push ups from your knees, then raised knee push ups. If for no other reason, do them for your neck and back health. Second reason is I need a grunt to build me a Swiss Chalet, but we can build up to that.

I would like to do yoga. That would be good for me.

A sensible show? Get outta town!
I think this show's intentions are pretty clear. *cue dramatic music then camera zoom to the tiny biscuit which represents lunch for fatty*
1.30 mark. 2nd tube.

Even though it appears that bus crash wasn't fatal, I think we should add 'successful people sit in the middle of a bus' to Isee's list. The backs tend to get hit by trains.

I think odds are better BACK of BUS.
I survived my bus being smashed by a truck, and sliced down the side, BECAUSE I WAS BACK OF BUS, lying on the floor and asleep (drugged - this helped with the stress of all the dead in the front, and the general panic too).
Truck was on the wrong side of the road, driver on speed, and sentenced for manslaughter.

reepbot do you dance? Dance for fitness and social benefits:)

Do you like Toastmasters, and how long have you done that?
I hated them when they came to Uni and tried to coach us, and would not listen to a thing we said.
Once upon a time - I was one of those that would rather die than speak in public, now I love it.

I do not dance. I don't think i would be good at it but you never know. That extreme form of extroverted expression would be interesting to try for an introvert such as my good self.

I have been going to toastmasters since last October and enjoying it so far. Now i have a captive audience for my weirdness!

Dancing is for everyone, lots of very meek and shy types dance, and you can get lost in the rhythm, it is transcendental.
I cannot comprehend why anyone denies themselves the pleasure of moving to music, I was born dancing I think, must be horrible non dancing.

Try it. And forget about what you look like, surrender, nobody cares but you if you falter or fall.
I have converted lots of non dancers:)

Exactly, there is something to suit everyone.

I am thinking of starting a dance thread.

I learnt a whole Bollywood routine 2 weeks ago in Melb City Square, free.
I dance anything I can wherever I can.
Free Latin in Fed Square over summer

It isn't all about dancing with partners either.

I always dance (and sing) when I am doing stuff around the house.

The moves are very feminine and divaish but hey that's just me. No one can see me thankfully. Haha.
