Wow so much going on - sounds crazy but exciting. That's awesome that your class is going so well.

It really is. Thanks. The people coming to the class are actually some of the loveliest people I have ever met. They are so appreciative and thankful for the help. Reminds me why and what I love about teaching.

Good afternoon to my favourite menagerie of OT misfits!

My Frank is a sicky boy. He has an ear infection and is like a dying duck in a thunderstorm.

Oh bless.

:(

Oh dear :-( he does look sick. My dog had an ear infection recently, I can't remember how much it costs for the antibiotics and the ear wash stuff but I don't think it was as much as $250.

What a productive start to the year!

I live Fiji. It is one of the few countries that allow me in...

Haha. I haven't been since I was 4. Really looking forward to meeting family (including many many first cousins) whom I have never met.

It was Sunday rates at the Emergency vet.

I took him back to my vet yesterday and it cost $80. Not that I am complaining. Our after hours vet is worth every cent

And good Moanin OT thread!

Get this, when one lady found out that the teachers and assistants were volunteers she just started crying. That was after getting teary that we had a little pack made up for them which only consisted of a document wallet, a notebook, some pens and a highlighter.

It really feels like we are making a difference and improving the life quality for these beautiful people.

Have you been hosting amazing soirees around your pool? I'm trying to ensure my next house has a pool even if they say it's a just a hole in your yard into which you pour money haha.

Have the meds kicked in for Frank?

Aww thats really sweet Bleachy. Makes your heart swell when people with nothing are so grateful for something. Puts things in perspective xx

@Trala , How is Billy going? is he any better. Made me cry and laugh a little when you said you water Laurie and think about him. Thank you xx[DOUBLEPOST=1455974770][/DOUBLEPOST]
Hey shadow - this is a hard stage of grief, when life starts moving on for everyone else but things are still so raw for you. Don't rush yourself, you need to let yourself mourn and honestly take as much time as you want. I experienced a significant loss nearly 10 years ago and I still find things hard at times, which probably rounds horribly discouraging for your grieving process, things do get easier and you do learn to live with the pain, but I'm just saying don't rush the process. You will have good and bad days, but hopefully someday soon you have more good days than bad :inlove:
Thanks Jessy, You always have the perfect words to say xx

He is feeling much better!

He still not back to his mischievous self, but he is 70% better.

We are loving the pool! My partner is building in a BBQ at the moment, it is going to look fab! I need to talk tiles with my interior decorator.

Billy is his usual grumpy yeasty self.

It's the puppy who is unwell. Thankfully he is on the mend.[DOUBLEPOST=1456000582][/DOUBLEPOST]
