The Bushfires are back Bit closer to here, than last time. Loads of ash.

Still so freaking hot over here (I so miss my pool in the concrete jungle) and well, these bushfires are more scarey for farmers etc! My concern is more with the Wildlife around here -but hey, I just tell myself they are like the indigenous ones, that they know where to go - I hopes But the arson fires are the worry
About 10 days ago I had to find a jumper ....
I think they have the fires contained now - it is weird weather, usually we get a huge easterly wind when temps are this high, but they are staying away .......... must be a pressure cell somewhere that is keeping us heated up or something like that, so I saw somewhere .....
A few weeks ago I was feeling for those in SA. when temps were very extreme.

I always worry about wildlife in any extreme weather too, even just the heat. But they have good survival instincts. It's so sad when farmers lose their livestock or produce though, imagine having your whole livelihood disappear all at once.
That's good that it's contained, but still such an awful situation. Hopefully this is the last of it as summer winds up.

Aww they are so cute, do they sleep on your bed with you? Rosie sleeps in lounge room, she only jumps up on the bed, when she is scared or wants to have an afternoon nap. She wakes me up by tapping on my back. I sleep on my side

Been a pretty busy start to the year for me, a new community English class that I am running has gone from 5 students in the first week, 14 in week two and 20 in week three. I have a great team supporting
Our youth group has been seeing the highest numbers ever for the first couple of weeks for the year.
Had to move out of rental home as owner wanted it back, was living with my brother and his family so now we have all moved back into mums while we find something else. We are being pretty picky about what we get, something with a seperate living space for me.
Booked flights to Fiji in April for a family reunion.
Crazy times.
How are things with you? How is Rosie going? Leg getting back to normal?
