As proud as I would be to be a chick in your chookhouse, I must respectfully admit to not being so.
And frankly, your chookhouse might scare me.

we used to call my grandma 'grandma with the chooks' because she lived in wynyard tasmania with a whole heap of chickens. i know that barely relates to what you are saying but it reminded me of that.

Ok, now on to my friendship feelings.

However times do change and I have made stronger friends such as you delcan, @Isee, @Moosseface, @Bluefin, @Fuzz , and @Sweetgeek. Apologies if i missed anyone.

Plus i am also trying to make soome real life friends by joining these clubs. They may work out, they may not. But i never know if i don't at least give it a try. Who knows, i might even become friends with park lady? That would be cool.
maybe concentrate on making friends, and see what it all brings - You have to be a friends within a relationship, for it to work[/QUOTE
:)

LOL - My old Chook house had two roosters, so you would be scared LOL!

LOL - Pity I am not a Grandma!

I had a Granny up the Hill
and Granny around the Bend!

:(
When i was 18 or so I got bored easily. So myself and another perturbed mate used to hit the Over 28's nights on occasion.
"Grab a granny"
The temporary relief gained from the experience wasnt always worth the aftermath of having to affect an interest in Bingo and Macrame.
But I chalk it up as an experience needed to be gained.
I have always been brought up to respect my elders.

I hear you dreaming
voices screaming
mind unphased
beating hearts raised

don't fear rejection
your soul needs no protection
no more regretting
just make sure you aint forgetting

who you really are
shining brightly like the morning star
put a stop to all your fearing
and soon we will all be cheering.

They were Cheese, I think? If not they were natural corn.
I think they just liked the crunch!

In fact, we also had a can of corn kernels there, 'cause we were fishing for Trout. Not a worthy bait.

For it to be a 'True Grab A Granny' Experience, I think you have to add at least 32 years to your own age for that Trophy ;)

I love trout fishing!
Lake Jindabyne near Thredbo.
But I am admittedly a bit of a snob. Predominantly Fly fishing only.
I tie my own flies. To varying degrees of success.
I am patient. But will have no hesitation of baiting up with a mudeye (dragonfly larvae) if my shitty home made flies dont work.

very nice! seeing all the birds is very interesting. though magpies are annoying. we used to have magpies trying to steal our dogs bones. they'd sneak up and try to grab it.

Magpies are very nasty, but then again it is survival of the fittest.

Every year, Black Cockatoos (with red tail) come here and destroy some of our trees. Same time, every year!
I must try to get a few pics tomorrow. I Love Them - Free Tree Pruning LOL

Do you breed the Flies?

I have a scarey vision of a Maggot Farm LOL

Lake Jindabune is just so Beautiful! I have spent many a Ski Season passing through there and also staying in Jindabyne (many years ago)

I raised my bat Ricky Ponting Style when I was seduced by my first "50".
I was 18 and a half.
I dont take any great credit in achieving that trophy.
I think it was more of a case of the blind leading the blind.
My impaired vision thru beer and hers through declining optics.
