...I didn't know either Alias... I am so devastated upon hearing this... his voice in 'Sorrow' is so soothing and hypnotic to me... it's one of my most favourite all time songs... he was a master of his craft... as someone said within these forums... 'a world without David Bowie'... I never thought that day would come... this hit me as hard as the day John Lennon was shot dead... it's awful... cheers.

 
It's funny how music gets to you. Even though we don't know the artists we 'know' them somehow because their music is such a big part of our lives. His death is a big shock to me too. He was a pioneer and still going strong. He just released an album which is going so well. I thought he was fine and full of beans. I had no idea he had cancer. Such a big loss. :(
