Its important. Its the radiant heat from the fires that is the invisible threat. Long sleeves, gloves, long trousers boots etc.
Also make regular checks on your roof or attic space for embers.
Drink lots and have available adequate supplies of water. Good idea to fill bathtub too.
Its a terrible situation to deal with due to its very own nature of unpredictability.
Take care and keep safe.

Yeah I know a few people who have done that.
Trouble with natural aussie eucalypts is that they have a resin which combusts with embers like a series of firecrackers. Plus embers of eucalypts are known to travel far farther than those of other trees.
Our bushfires have a unique set of lethal variables that differ from bushfires in other parts of the world.

My buoyancy is entirely dependent on whether I am useful in your daily operation winback sorties. It's more a tidal story of whether I serve a function in your bigger endgame.
