Been here a little over a year but have learned it on and off for much longer. Started in school and then took ten years off and then gradually took it up again.

Hm. I only worked around bushfires once really and it was in relation to risk and the topic we were discussing here was global warming and emissions anyway, not bushfires per se. Chemical.I'm guessing if you worked around bushfire management as an engineer it must be civil...so yes!

How was Dylan Lewis? I have never met a celebrity. Not anyone remotely famous. I would faint if I ever met Tina Arena.

I'm not a fan of his so wasn't awestruck. About as awestruck as accidentally walking into a signing at a shop to find out it was Gordon from BB.
Probably the closest big meeting with a celebrity was an Australian rock singer who called our San Fran office a lot when his GF/future wife worked there and he was super clingy and possessive and high maintenance that something was going on. I almost had to counsel him.
