What to you think of Mr Travolta Reppy and if I may ask, Scientology?[DOUBLEPOST=1451745011][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yes but also about Black Slaves ..........

I liked him in Pulp Fiction, but apart from that he really hasn't been that memorable for me. As for Scientology I am not a fan of it. Especially about what i have read about it.

Catch the movie, if you can or want to. Just a different direction, for your writing skills - maybe? I would be interested to hear your thoughts or anyone elses. I suppose it is more about US History, however the regaining of strength from belittlement, whilst supported is quite awesome. Has a bit more meaning than snorting Coke and Dancing.

Ok. I will try and get that movie from the library.

Tarantino's greatest work is his eternal unrequited crush on Uma Thurman.
It never gets boring. In the morbidly fascinating sense.
Also contains relatively high levels of creep/cringe factor.
Far more interesting than any film he has made since Jackie Brown.

I never knew about his crush on Uma.

I was just looking a bit deeper than a paddle pool.

Pity they didn't make it about WA, since that was the Brewerys Origin ............

No derail was intended from here. Have you watched this movie? That was my Question, and that was not answered.

With the Skinned Reference .... just ask Witty, he will tell you ......... he knows EVERYTHING!!!

Anyway, I was just trying to help reepy get past13k posts on his thread - even though I am suprised he isn't doing some form of self imposed WHATEVER ........

Brian dePalma. Kubrick. Coppola. Sam Peckinpah

Oh yes Brian De Palma with Carlito's Way was great. The take about a former criminal trying to make good but getting sucked back into his former lifestyle was fascinating for me to watch. Coppola with The Godfather changed cinema forever. Amazing to think of all the trouble he had with it. How the studio executives didn't like Pacino or Brando at first until later. But now Vito and Michael Corleone are probably one of the two greatest movie characters of all time. The journey that Michael goes from shy world war two soldier who is wary of getting into the family business to this cold hearted mafia don is something that has never been bettered in cinema i feel. Kubrick had some great movies. His obsessive details in getting a shot right are legendary. It is a pity he never got to shoot his Napoleon film. My favorite of his is The Shining. He really terrorised poor Shelly Duvall in that one. I think for one scene in that he shot it about 140 odd times or something like that. Never seen a Sam Peckinpah film.[DOUBLEPOST=1451750881][/DOUBLEPOST]
