A question can also be a statement. For instance:
"Did your gushing crush on Inigo start in November 2014 or October 14?"
or
"Can reepbot ever recover your friendship after cutting your lunch?"
They are both questions and implied statements. They are not mutually exclusive as your unsophisticated understanding limits you to believe. In many cases, someone can reject the premise of a question, which is the statement portion.
What did you say about your own experience with women?
Is that enough of a question for you to answer?

I don't have a crush on Inigo, so it didn't start on either of those dates. It has not yet started.
Reepbot and I were never really friends, he didn't cut my lunch, he has mistreated my friend though. So I guess he could, I doubt it though.
