i'm not funny though.
Comedy has many forms. Many aspects. Not everything has to be Abbott & Costello.
But you cant decide if you are funny. Only others can. Truly.
I think your uniqueness makes you funny.Your perspective.
But my definition of funny is probably found deep in the bowels of an old DSM manual so Im probably not the best dispenser of advice.
I tend to like the abstract and absurd. Yet a well crafted fart joke will get me in the right circumstance.
Comedy for me has many moods and colours and what I find funny one day I may not necessarily the next.
She's a complex beast this comedy thing. But oh I love her so!

What do you mean by that?

Sometimes you are funny just by being you.[DOUBLEPOST=1449578222][/DOUBLEPOST]

This is for you Reepbot. Alexei Sayle is a superbly acerbic smart comedy man. A layered comic. I hope you enjoy.

14 - A TOUCH OF FROST

"She was killed with a piece of steak, Jack."

"Rare?"

"No it was well-done. I mean the murderer left no fingerprints."

'A Touch Of Frost' is an entertaining crime show that is very comfortable to watch. For me the mysteries are not too difficult to solve, and the cases always seem to get wrapped up fairly easily. I like comfort tv, I like it more than having to think about the show. When i watch something i do not want to have to think about it at all. This show is comfort television at its very best with some superb performances by the entire cast, especially by Sir David Jason. His portrayal as Inspector Jack Frost was really impressive to me and I enjoyed his character very much.

I am really impressed when actors do two roles at the same time on two different tv shows. By that i mean they might be acting in a comedy show with lots of laughter and whacky situations on one station, and a gritty tv cop drama with lots of violence on another station. Because that is what Sir David Jason did in the mid 90's when he was doing his role on 'A Touch of Frost' as well as reprising his role as Del Trotter on 'Only Fools and Horses'. These two different characters must have been hard to do but he managed to do that which i thought was really special.

"What? You saw a cat up the tree? And you want us to capture it because it looks like Hitler? I'm sorry but we have a country to defend!"

Funny scene from this hilarious show. I really enjoyed watching this and I hope that people here will at least check it out.

12- THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN
images

"Oh no! We're animated!"

"Blistering blue barnacles!"

I loved the Tintin comics. Infact I still do. I find them great fun to read. But this is about my top 50 tv shows of all time. They did a tv series about the comics and I was worried how it would turn out. Lucky I did not have to worry too much as the tv series was aweeome with lots of adventure. Watching Tintin along with his faithful dog Snowy travel around the world foiling crooks with their wits and courage was great fun.

I also liked the animation on this show. I am no expert on animation. Ask me to draw something and I would most likely just put down some really dodgy stick figure. I am just really bad at drawing. So i obviously would not be able to tell the difference between good and bad animation. I just simply couldn't. But I did enjoy watching the animation on 'The Adventures of Tintin'.

Have a look at this Reepbot. If it piques your interest get it and watch it. A must for TinTin fans. Herge was a true visionary ahead of his time.

It's not instinct, it's a habit that you are cultivating and the bad habit part of your brain is growing and the self control part is a shrivelled pea. Do you want an enlarged bad habit part of your brain and a shrivelled pea for self control? No! Throw your idealised projected delusion to the kerb!

Talking to her makes me happy. I know that sounds stupid, but I can't help if i feel that way.
