On the other side though, Thug Life Tupak Shakur once lived in a housing commission near Sausalito. That area is so non-ghetto it's embarrassing. There is seriously zero hardship there. It's San Francisco bayfront with views of yachts.

They have housing commission in Sausalito? The whole San Fran area is so cashed up it's ridiculous

Surely because it's the happiest song, ever, and OT is a bloodbath stadium/rut group therapy session. A fun counterpoint. I did enjoy posting it :p.

But happiness will put a stop to my self-loathing! That will not do at all. It's grumpy or nothing for me.

Did you get to any of the wineries? I was dragged to one, kicking and screaming.

No wine for cordial loving me :p No, there are too many redwood Ewok forests and a close-by Goonies filming location North and Lake Tahoe East. It's fun just seeing how the seriously rich people live there.

Yep, I did a Napa Valley/Sonoma thing - I LOVE wineries, but they were a bit meh there, bad wine, too commercial - if someone is looking for a good winery, go to Chile or Mendoza in Argentina. I did appreciate the public drinking in Sonoma though

One then wonders, how on earth you may nearly have been evicted from a 2001 Christmas party. :p

(Those redwood trees are like nothing else, terrestrially speaking, of course)

Thank you Declan. But I am still wary of "likes". They seem to be used as massive passive aggressive tactics. And who knew ellipses could act an instigating counter attack. I first must find my way 'round the forum and learn the nuances of this forum's thrust and parry.
Likes are so subjective and in some cases, obligatory. And it can create feelings of unworthiness if your like basket is empty.
I think a simple score out of ten for each post should replace the like system.

I would never use likes as that. I use them for posters i like and respect. That's all. Though i can understand your caution.

I'm no teetotaler, but unfortunately brooding when drunk :(. Gin and tonics are my poison, but that one involved chartreuse.
Ohhhhhhh nooooo. Chartreuse! I know nothing about that, much. What's your preferred gin?

No one should take my advice :) Bombay gin due to the pretty bottle. I'm researching lychee schnapps and butterscotch schnapps, so I'm still more on the cordial side.
