A friend of mine once told me to try one of the garlic mussels from a jar. The first thing that hits me was smell, which often makes me feel sick, then I bit it and SQUEAK! and then icky juice. I had to run to the toilet with my hand over my mouth.

My Mum is from Burnley in the UK from a time where they ate all the nasty (IMO) bits of the animal because it was cheap. I grew up watching her eat tripe, brains, heart, kidney, liver. They ate cockles, mussels, sardines, faggots, black pudding.. *gag* I even remember the smell of the house when she made those things. I had a Golden Gaytime Krusher from KFC for the first time the other week and oh my god I never knew a drink could taste so good. It was like a orgasm in my mouth. 😆 ☺️

Now I am addicting to buying the ice cream as well but they are only in 4 packs!!!! Nooooo!!! But I suppose it will stop me from getting fat. 😆

Lol too funny. Even I might have to draw the line here, probably not though.
 
Stupid, stupid, STUPID me pretty much sliced the top of my finger off using a mandolin slicer slicing potatoes... my lovely OH brought me home chips & gravy to cheer me up & take my mind off the pain (the strong painkillers are helping too.. i'm off my face weeeeeeeeeeee!!)

Ouch! Are you ok? Did you go to ER? Anyway, chips and gravy are amazing so I'm ALMOST jealous of you.
 
Ouch @shaydee. Hope the chips n' gravy ease the pain.
Those mandolins are one of my nightmares, even watching contestants using one on MasterChef or MKR makes me cringe a bit. Especially as someone usually does chop something off.
I have a scar on my finger from when I was sneaking corned beef in the middle of the night. Didn't turn the lights on, and sliced a huge chunk out of my finger (with a knife). Put me off corned beef for life. I don't think that was the point, it should have put me off midnight snacking, but you can't have everything...
