What would reepbot say?

In Zimbabwe, money became cheaper (worth less) than toilet paper.

Didn't the same thing happen to Germany in the 1920's?

None. They all seem extremely straightforward to me.

Apart from "hotbutton" which I've never heard of in any context, ever.

Actually, hot button was one that I use correctly.
I had always considered myself fairly well versed in the meaning of words and using them in the appropriate context, however, after reading that I have concluded I have the skills of a monkey in the creative writing arena and should stick to the numbers for which I am paid lol.
These words I have unknowingly used incorrectly (and ps so do a lot of teachers) - disinterested, enormity, fortuitous, parameters, tortuous.

And I've never even heard of this one but I do know instances where this could have been used:

28. Meretricious means tawdry or offensively insincere and does not mean meritorious.

Correct use: “We rolled our eyes at the meretricious speech.”

Yes, another great moment in hyperinflation.

Anyhow, before the US crumbles, Japan and Russia are both suffering demographic crises, and are projected to lose 20%+ of their populations by 2050. Japan currently only has two taxpayers for each pensioner and the situation is getting worse. Japan is the country to watch, even though everything happens in slow motion, they were broke decades ago and are just working out the details and changing governments twice a year.

Yeah parameters threw me a little bit too actually. That said, I'm
Pretty sure that the majority of people also use the word incorrectly, so if I started using it correctly I'd look like the stupid one. I hate that!

Especially when dictionaries define it as being what the linguistics 'expert' says it isn't. Makes it quite confusing.

Yeah, extremely so. I feel the dictionary is a way better guide. Language evolves though, like terrific for example originkslly meant something was terrifying and technically can be used still in that context, but how silly would you sound if you did.

Like 'By jove you gave me a terrific fright, jessy!' ?

And, dear Reepbot, what brings you to this conclusion and the desire to state it at this particular moment? Are you bored?
He's just testing whether Affable is lurking. Either that, or I mentioned Zimbabwe, which is a touchy subject as Tina Arena toured there to falsely inflate album sales.

Sorry mooseface for insulting you.
That's OK, reepbot. Mooseface just passive aggressively ellipsised me. That's the worst.

A telemarketer said 'God bless you' the other day before hanging up. I didn't have time to explain that God wasn't taking telemarketer instructions. I felt owned. By a telemarketer.

I thought we were her friends.
