I am going down the coast tomorrow, but I can't afford to spend any money right now... Maybe next time.
Well the thing about placement is we were all told that it would be for this entire week, then on Monday at orientation a bomb was dropped ( a good bomb) because there were going to be so many students out on placement this week at the hospital we only had to do 2 full days, so for me it was Tuesday and Wednesday... I'm done with placement now. I've realised that I much preferred aged care, I felt like there was more to do and I was helping people who needed it, + the staff at the aged care facility were a lot more helpful... The hospital was kind of boring, the ward I was in was not busy at all... I did obs, showered patients, answered the call button, was in charge of the dirty untlity, made a billion beds and for the rest of the time could no find anything else to do, I was asking the RNs if there was anything to do and they said no and did not even really care most of the time what I was doing... I get it they are busy and sometimes don't have time for a student. I did get some positive feedback from the RN that I was paired up with today. So but basically I liked aged care so much more.
