That is unbelievable! Seriously! To think how much I could have saved over the years makes me cringe. I'm hopeless with budgeting in some thing- clothes and the house. I once spent 350 dollars on a lamp stand and shade... Years later i am ashamed that I even thought it was ok to spend that much on a lamp shade.

Try The walking dead. Love that series. There is a sale in www.catchoftheday.com.au they have loads of cushions etc, in the homewares dept. @mutleyp you have a great eye for detail. So a career change in the future?

Thank you lovely, I have always had an interest, currently renovating and decided why not do a course, so doing that, also have a sideline where I go in and declutter houses, stepping away from the healthcare for now

Oh god, I need you!! I have cluttered up my wardrobes.. I throw all my crap in the built ins. Out of sight out of mind.........I would say you would get a lot of work de cluttering. It looks so great after a clean up.

The last one was like episode of hoarders, was reallllly satisfying, did help the homeowner was at the point where sentimental went out the window with 95% of the stuff, lots of donations made, lots of rubbish gone, only thing I hated was going through kids stuff, so I set that as an assignment for them, feel thats a really personal thing, so couldn't go in guns blazing. Advice would be, go one at a time, don't set goals too high at the start, setting up for failure, if you start small, momentum builds, instead of overwhelms :D
 
Oh @mutleyp i need your services as well. I'm doing a massive cull and am shocked at how much crap I have accumulated in the 18 or so months I have lived here. It's horrifying. The good thing is, much like your last client I guess, there's nothing overly sentimental, just so damn arduous.

If you haven't used it in the last 6 months, go, if it has value, sell/donate, otherwise dump, then if you absolutely can't part with it, it must have some sentimental value, so you remember that, its rewarding in its own way[DOUBLEPOST=1447137255][/DOUBLEPOST]

Wow that seems so simple yet is like a lightbulb. Great advice. Thanks! It's so true, you find things you forgot about it and it seems exciting but I've gone this long forgetting they exist, I can easily live without them.
