Ok. Good point. Well I guess a self awareness campaign aimed at posters who can think for themselves would be the best thing.
 
When I woke up this morning with swollen glands I knew getting out of bed was a bad idea. I did it anyway and it has been a mess ever since. My POS car got me to work but now won't start and I lack the required energy to deal with and it would rather rob it of its registration and leave it where it is to rust so I will never let me down again. I won't though. My boss kindly loaned me a Porsche which is a serious upgrade, it has almost made today tolerable. Oh except for the fact it had no fuel in it and ran out on my way to the petrol station and I needed to go fill a Jerry can.

I'm just going to go ahead and file today under "mildly shit day". I'm halfway through the day though, let's see if things improve.

Sounds like you should have stayed in bed :(.
Well apart from getting to drive the Porsche but even that ended up costing you.

Thanks! Yep not the best start to my week but it could be worse I guess. Hopefully it doesn't actually get worse though.

Where abouts were they? In the city?
I kind of wondered when the electrical cars started coming in if there were possibly charging stations at various places other than at home.

I went to an electric car show not long ago. It was really interesting and with a few tweaks I reckon they are totes the future. $$$ wise, they are incredibly cheap to run. My only concern is, when you need fuel, you pull into a service station, fill up & you're off. With an electric car, you pull in & have to sit there and wait for it to recharge. I'm not too sure on the spare battery thing though. Maybe having a fully charged spare is the answer? There's a newish highway here in WA that goes from Perth to Margaret River called The Electric Highway which has charge points all the way down. It's the first in Australia, not sure about the world.

Good idea I guess. Charge while you shop. I thought maybe at parking stations in the city so people could charge while they work. Maybe they do, I haven't been into Brissy city in a few years lol.

Maybe there are? I don't really go into like the city part of the Gold Coast.

Pretty soon all the schoolies will be coming up here and hopefully having a wonderful time.

Schoolies was the best time, kinda sad that this is still true today. Id hate to live in the hotspots though.

My lil bro is looking at Bali for his next year, maybe this is common but it sounds like a bad idea to me.

I would hate it too. I never actually went to schoolies or any other end of high school equivalent of that.

I think I'm a generation up from that lol. I even found all the noise and people from the Uni Games annoying when I was down there recently.
I'm scared - my son has 3 more years of school and I hope he matures a lot before he goes on schoolies!
