Yay! Guess this means the multitudinous impressions of Tina are over.

Well I will always love Tina Arena and her music until the day I die. Plus I will keep updating the Tina Arena thread, especially with the release of her upcoming album that will shatter sales records and be one of the greatest albums ever recorded. But I got to thinking how @jessy_girl has a great big love for Britney Spears but she doesn't have a Britney avatar. Why? Because clearly she doesn't need to tell people that, her actions dictate it. So, I thought that I didn't need a Tina Arena avatar to show that I love Tina Arena and her music.

Besides, I am going to bring Lynda Day more recognition on this forum!

Great acting does not mean diversity of characters.

Anyway, I'm all about Lynda Day, the greatest fictional character that there ever was and ever will be in the history of creation!
I consider Press Gang and Ab Fab more like crossover series starring Julia Sahwala as herself.

Generally a few minutes at most before Spike's accent has me self-immolating.

You should watch the who five seasons it really is such a fantastic show. Great dialogue, amazing acting, superb characters and ground breaking directing. There is no other show that comes close to Press Gang. You could revive Shakespeare himself and he would never ever be able to come up with something so emotionally satisfying and great as Press Gang.

Paradise Hotel season one.

Paradise Hotel season one.

I respectfully disagree. Nothing could be as great as Press Gang. Especially with the character of Lynda Day. How can anyone come up with such a wonderful character? A character that is not merely just a character but a real human being with thoughts and feelings and who you actually believe in and want to see suceed. Now that has partly to do with Julia's acting as she is a very great actress and it is a national shame that she has not recieved more roles. But it has also has to do with the great writing that the character gets to be able to speak. A words full of hopes, cyncism, dreams, passion, reality, joy, sadness, hatred, self-loathing, love, business and everything that you can posibly think of and want. I have seen Press Gang many times, it makes me feel so invested in the characters from Lynda to Spike to Sarah to Colin to Fraz to Kenny and beyond all these characters are just not mrely characters parroting lines like they are from some proedual and they are just collecting their money while they go home to their multi billionaire mansions with their fancy cars and underwater sea sharks, no these are real people who make you feel for them as they try to make the Junior Gazette work.

Did it fill the gaps in your soul left by Tina's inability to fill it?

TL;DR but Spike was the best

TL;DR but Spike was the best

Spike was good, no doubt about that. But I much prefered Lynda Day and her ability to lead from the front as well as the way she came across colder then she probably meant to be due to her single minded determination to not only make the Junior Gazette work in a financial sense but to also not have it as some kind of celeb snapping tabloid rubbish.

Are you having a go The Daily Mail?
